Study on the Development Path of Rural Tourism under the Strategy of Rural Revitalization

To deeply carry out the strategic plan of rural revitalization,promote rural tourism improving quality and efficiency,and realize sustainable development of rural tourism,five revitalization goals under the strategy of rural revitalization were taken as the decision-making level. Combining PEST analysis of influence factors at macro level,GEM model of national perspective and basic theory of tourism,nine influence factors of rural tourism were taken as two-level indexes. Under nine influence factors,13 corresponding three-level indexes were found. The weight was calculated by entropy weight method. The development path of driving the revitalization of rural tourism was proposed from multiple perspectives of revitalization,to promote sustainable development of rural tourism.

An Innovative Path of the Hainan Free Trade Port from the Perspective of Global Experience

The construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port(FTP)should not only exploit the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics but also research and draw on the advanced institutions and successful experience of typical international free trade ports.The emergence of typical international free trade ports in Singapore,Dubai,and Chinese Hong Kong depends on an embedded international economic and trade order and institutional innovation practices.Both conditions are interactively embedded through a series of institutional designs with similar characteristics.The paper sorts out the necessary factors of the successful practice of typical international free trade ports,and proposess that the Hainan FTP should continue to exert its advantages by building on existing institutional innovation.At the same time,it should actively embed the regional multilateral international and economic and trade landscape represented by the Belt and Road Initiative and expedite institutional innovation and reform,and development in different fields,to create a socialist free trade port with Chinesecharacteristics.

How Does the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Affect the Restructuring of Global Value Chains?

This paper quantifies the way in which the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)afects the restructuring of global value chains(GVCs).It incorporates an inputoutput structure into a general equilibrium model,highlighting important differences between intermediates and final goods.Using tarif reduction schedules for the RCEP agreement and Asian Development Bank Multi-Region Input-Output database,it evaluates the impact of the RCEP's tariff cuts on vertical specialization and the GVC position index of members.It shows that the RCEP significantly increased vertical specialization and the weighted average number of stages for members for primary factors of production and final consumption,which led to more complex and longer production chains.This was mainly due to the trade creation in intermediates imported from member countries and those outside it.This is an important finding,distinct from traditional trade models without aninput-output structure.

土地整治助推乡村发展转型的机制与成效识别

China's rural territory is entering a critical stage of transformation and development.Promoting rural development and transformation is an important path to achieve rural vitalization,and land consolidation is expected to become the starting point to boost rural transformation.To clarify the internal relationship between land consolidation and rural development transformation is an important scientific proposition.This paper constructs a theoretical framework of rural land consolidation(RLC)affecting rural development transformation(RDT),and analyzes the historical evolution process and characteristics of RLC and rural development in China.Based on government interviews and household surveys,this paper analyzes the impact of RLC on RDT under different geographic types and different consolidation models from a multi-subject perspective,and empirically tests the effects using the econometric model.China's rural land consolidation has also gradually transformed to multi-type and multi-functional comprehensive consolidation.The results show that there are many explicit and implicit mechanisms of the influence of RLC on RDT in China,such as mechanism of promotion of industrial development,mechanism of integration of development factors,mechanism of urbanization and mechanism of urban-rural interaction.And the results of different modes of RLC impact on RDT are different.Farmers have a high degree of support and satisfaction with RLC since RLC has improved their production and living conditions as well as household and village income.Besides,the effects of various types of RLC on RDT are positive.The authors argue that constructing human-land early warning mechanisms,optimizing the layout and performance evaluation of RLC and promoting multi-type development and multisystem coordination of RLC can elevate the effect of RLC on RDT.This paper provides reference for scientific decision-making of RDT from the perspective of RLC.

Changes in the Economic Structure and Trends in China’s Future Energy Demands

The scientific evaluation of trends in China's future energy demands is highly important.Using provincial-level panel data from 1995 to 2015,we studied the relationships between the economic aggregate,the development of energy-intensive industries and energy demand from the perspective of changes in the proportion of energy-intensive industries in the national economy.We find that economic aggregate affects energy demand through energy-intensive industries and that changes in the economic structure are the key factor for change in energy demand.This means that China's future energy demand will be much lower than that contained in forecasts that did not consider this factor.Comprehensively promoting green-tech development and strengthening the regulation of energy-extensive industries will be one of the key options for realizing China's objective of controlling total energy consumption.

How Does Digital Economy Promote Green Innovation?Empirical Evidencefrom Chinese Cities

This paper examines the impact of digital economy on the output of urban green innovation and its working mechanisms from the perspective of green technological innovation and on the basis of Chinese cities'panel data.The empirical study indicates that the digital economy effectively improves the output of urban green innovation in a way that is inclusive to medium and small cities and more effective in areas with a more market-oriented structure.Digital economy improves urban green innovation by promoting economic agglomeration and optimizing regional financial structure,to contribute to green technology's spillover effect and provide a favorable financial environment for green innovation.Further analysis has found that green innovation arising from the development of digital economy effectively reduces pollution and emission.The conclusions provide meso-level empirical evidence for a profound understanding of digital economy's impact on green innovation as well as theoretical guidance and policy recommendations for speeding up green transformation in the new context of development.
