Aiming at the problem on cooperative air-defense of surface warship formation, this paper maps the cooperative airdefense system of systems (SoS) for surface warship formation (CASoSSWF) to the biological immune s...Aiming at the problem on cooperative air-defense of surface warship formation, this paper maps the cooperative airdefense system of systems (SoS) for surface warship formation (CASoSSWF) to the biological immune system (BIS) according to the similarity of the defense mechanism and characteristics between the CASoSSWF and the BIS, and then designs the models of components and the architecture for a monitoring agent, a regulating agent, a killer agent, a pre-warning agent and a communicating agent by making use of the theories and methods of the artificial immune system, the multi-agent system (MAS), the vaccine and the danger theory (DT). Moreover a new immune multi-agent model using vaccine based on DT (IMMUVBDT) for the cooperative air-defense SoS is advanced. The immune response and immune mechanism of the CASoSSWF are analyzed. The model has a capability of memory, evolution, commendable dynamic environment adaptability and self-learning, and embodies adequately the cooperative air-defense mechanism for the CASoSSWF. Therefore it shows a novel idea for the CASoSSWF which can provide conception models for a surface warship formation operation simulation system.展开更多
Zinc oxide(ZnO) thin films were deposited onto different substrates — tin-doped indium oxide(ITO)/glass, ITO/polyethylene naphthalate(PEN), ITO/polyethylene terephthalate(PET) — by the radio-frequency(RF) magnetron ...Zinc oxide(ZnO) thin films were deposited onto different substrates — tin-doped indium oxide(ITO)/glass, ITO/polyethylene naphthalate(PEN), ITO/polyethylene terephthalate(PET) — by the radio-frequency(RF) magnetron sputtering method. The effect of various O2/(Ar+O2) gas flow ratios(0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6) was studied in detail. ZnO layers deposited onto ITO/PEN and ITO/PET substrates exhibited a stronger c-axis preferred orientation along the(0002) direction compared to ZnO deposited onto ITO/glass. The transmittance spectra of ZnO films showed that the maximum transmittances of ZnO films deposited onto ITO/glass, ITO/PEN, and ITO/PET substrates were 89.2%, 65.0%, and 77.8%, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images of the film surfaces indicated that the grain was uniform. The cross-sectional SEM images showed that the ZnO films were columnar structures whose c-axis was perpendicular to the film surface. The test results for a fabricated ZnO thin film based energy harvester showed that its output voltage increased with increasing acceleration of external vibration.展开更多

The chaotic binary sequence is paid more and more attenti...It is well known that the periodic performance of spread spectrum sequence heavily affects the correlative and secure characteristics of communication systems. The chaotic binary sequence is paid more and more attention since it is one kind of applicable spread spectrum sequences. However, there are unavoidable short cyclic problems for chaotic binary sequences in finite precision. The chaotic binary sequence generating methods are studied first. Then the short cyclic behavior of the chaotic sequences is analyzed in detail, which are generated by quantification approaches with finite word-length. At the same time, a chaotic similar function is defined for presenting the cyclic characteristics of the sequences. Based on these efforts, an improved method with scrambling control for generating chaotic binary sequences is proposed. To quantitatively describe the improvement of periodic performance of the sequences, an orthogonal estimator is also defined. Some simulating results are provided. From the theoretical deduction and the experimental results, it is concluded that the proposed method can effectively increase the period and raise the complexity of the chaotic sequences to some extent.展开更多

Phys. B 19 050508). Although this new method has a better compression performance than its original version, it is found that there are some problems with its security and decryption processes. In this paper, it is shown how to obtain a great deal of plain text from the cipher text without prior knowledge of the secret key. After discussing the security and decryption problems of the Li Heng-Jian et al. algorithm, we propose an improved chaos-based cryptosystem with an embedded adaptive arithmetic coder that is more secure.展开更多

Especially, for the nonzero-valued control parameter, there exists no equilibrium in the proposed system, leading to the formation of various hidden attractors with complex transient dynamics. Moreover, the transformation between a unipolar signal and a bipolar signal is often required. In this paper, a more intelligent hardware implementation based on field programmable analog array (FPAA) is constructed for chaotic systems with complete amplitude control. Firstly, two chaotic systems with complete amplitude control are introduced, one of which has the property of offset boosting with total amplitude control, while the other has offset boosting and a parameter for partial control. Both cases can achieve complete amplitude control including amplitude rescaling and offset boosting. Secondly, linear synchronization is established based on the special structure of chaotic system. Finally, experimental circuits are constructed on an FPAA where the predicted amplitude control is realized through only two independent configurable analog module (CAM) gain values.展开更多

Methods The Lempel-Ziv complexity C(n) was used to analyze EEG and its four components (delta, theta, alpha, beta), which was recorded from SD rats under different DOA. The relationship between C(n) and DOA was studied. Results The C(n) of EEG will decrease while the depth of anesthesia increasing and vice versa. It can be used to detect the change of DOA sensitively. Compared with power spectrum, the change of C(n) is opposite to that of power spectrum. Only the C(n) of delta rhythm has obvious variations induced by the change of DOA, and the variations of delta is as similar as the EEG's. Conclusion The study shows that the desynchronized EEG is replaced by the synchronized EEG when rat goes into anesthesia state from awake, that is just the reason why complexity and power spectrum appear corresponding changes under different DOA. C(n) of delta rhythm dynamic change leads to the change of EEG, and the delta rhythm is the dominant rhythm during anesthesia for rats.展开更多

In the method, all base classifiers may be allowed to ...To improve the performance of multiple classifier system, a knowledge discovery based dynamic weighted voting (KD-DWV) is proposed based on knowledge discovery. In the method, all base classifiers may be allowed to operate in different measurement/feature spaces to make the most of diverse classification information. The weights assigned to each output of a base classifier are estimated by the separability of training sample sets in relevant feature space. For this purpose, some decision tables (DTs) are established in terms of the diverse feature sets. And then the uncertainty measures of the separability are induced, in the form of mass functions in Dempster-Shafer theory (DST), from each DTs based on generalized rough set model. From the mass functions, all the weights are calculated by a modified heuristic fusion function and assigned dynamically to each classifier varying with its output. The comparison experiment is performed on the hyperspectral remote sensing images. And the experimental results show that the performance of the classification can be improved by using the proposed method compared with the plurality voting (PV).展开更多

First, pre-process of the image using median filter is made to reduce the effect of noise. Second, watershed algorithm is employed to provide initial regions. Third, regions are merged according to the information between the region and boundary. In the merger processing based on the region information, an adaptive threshold of the difference between the neighboring regions is used as the region merge criteria, which is based on the human visual character. In the merger processing on the boundary information, the gradient is used to judge the true boundary of the image to avoid merging the foreground with the background regions. Finally, post-process to the regions using mathematical morphology open and close filter is done to smooth object boundaries. The experimental results show that this method is very efficient.展开更多

The routing protocol has a crucial impact on the network performance in battlefields. Link reliability based hybrid routing (LRHR) is proposed, which is a novel hybrid routing protocol, for tactical MANET. Contrary to the traditional single path routing strategy, multiple paths are established between a pair of source-destination nodes. In the hybrid routing strategy, the rate of topological change provides a natural mechanism for switching dynamically between table-driven and on-demand routing. The simulation results indicate that the performances of the protocol in packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and average end-to-end delay are better than the conventional routing protocol.展开更多

The cylindrical anisotropic amplifying shell could be mimicked by radially symmetrical "sectors" alternating in composition between two profiles of isotropic dielectrics; the permittivity and permeability in each "sector" can be properly determined by the effective medium theory. In this paper, an improved quantum watermarking algorithm based on quantum audio by using least significant qubit (LSQb) modification is proposed. Com- pared with the previous achievements, it can effectively improve the robustness and security of watermark for copyright protection of quantum audio. In the new algorithm, the least significant bites and the peripheral least significant bits of the amplitudes are modified in terms of their logical consistency and correlation to enhance watermark robustness of resisting various illegal attacks. Furthermore, the new algorithm can avoid the weak robustness defect of many previous algorithms that directly embedded the watermark into the least significant bits. In order to implement the new algorithm, some spe- cific quantum circuits are designed to obtain better applicability and scalability for embedding and extracting watermark. Finally, the simulation results including the values of audio waveforms and signal to noise ratios (SNR) prove that the new algorithm has good transparency, robustness, and security.展开更多

As to the problems in military decision-making in fuzzy condition in uncertainty, this paper put forward a fuzzy-influence-factor, which reflects the fuzzy influence on battle units, and establishes a fuzzy opposed decision-making model in anticipant value and in correlative chance way farther to get strategy equilibrium. It can be seen from the simulating results that the model disposes the fuzzy status in battlefield reasonably, analyzes the fighting results objectively, and offers a powerful decision-making support for military operation. The sulfate ions modified YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors were prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and photoluminescence.Effects of sulfate ions on the...The sulfate ions modified YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors were prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and photoluminescence.Effects of sulfate ions on the photoluminescence(PL) property of the as-prepared YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors were studied,with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) being added to R^(3+)(Ce^(3+),Y^(3+),Al^(3+)) ions.Results indicated that pure YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors with different ratios of sulfate ions could be easily obtained by calcining the as-synthesized precursor at 950 ℃ for 2 h,the YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors with an optimal mass ratio of 3.5 wt.%SDS had the highest emission intensity and the best dispersion behavior,and the fluorescence decay of the as-obtained YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors was related to the lattice defect,reabsorption and cross correlation.Furthermore,thermal quenching properties of the YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors and the YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors with 3.5 wt.%SDS were also discussed,indicating that the YAG:Ce^(3+) with SDS phosphors could have potential applications in the daylight LEDs or warm white LEDs.展开更多

In the method, all base classifiers may be allowed to operate in different measurement/feature spaces to make the most of diverse classification information. The weights assigned to each output of a base classifier are estimated by the separability of training sample sets in relevant feature space. For this purpose, some decision tables (DTs) are established in terms of the diverse feature sets. And then the uncertainty measures of the separability are induced, in the form of mass functions in Dempster-Shafer theory (DST), from each DTs based on generalized rough set model. From the mass functions, all the weights are calculated by a modified heuristic fusion function and assigned dynamically to each classifier varying with its output. The comparison experiment is performed on the hyperspectral remote sensing images. And the experimental results show that the performance of the classification can be improved by using the proposed method compared with the plurality voting (PV).

文摘This paper presents a new improved term frequency/inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) approach which uses confidence, support and characteristic words to enhance the recall and precision of text classification. Synonyms defined by a lexicon are processed in the improved TF-IDF approach. We detailedly discuss and analyze the relationship among confidence, recall and precision. The experiments based on science and technology gave promising results that the new TF-IDF approach improves the precision and recall of text classification compared with the conventional TF-IDF approach.
文摘As watershed algorithm suffers from over-segmentation problem, this paper presented an efficient method to resolve this problem. First, pre-process of the image using median filter is made to reduce the effect of noise. Second, watershed algorithm is employed to provide initial regions. Third, regions are merged according to the information between the region and boundary. In the merger processing based on the region information, an adaptive threshold of the difference between the neighboring regions is used as the region merge criteria, which is based on the human visual character. In the merger processing on the boundary information, the gradient is used to judge the true boundary of the image to avoid merging the foreground with the background regions. Finally, post-process to the regions using mathematical morphology open and close filter is done to smooth object boundaries. The experimental results show that this method is very efficient.

文摘A new algorithm is proposed for joint diagonalization. With a modified objective function, the new algorithm not only excludes trivial and unbalanced solutions successfully, but is also easily optimized. In addition, with the new objective function, the proposed algorithm can work well in online blind source separation (BSS) for the first time, although this family of algorithms is always thought to be valid only in batch-mode BSS by far. Simulations show that it is a very competitive joint diagonalization algorithm.
文摘Tactical mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes forming a temporary network, without the aid of pre-established network infrastructure. The routing protocol has a crucial impact on the network performance in battlefields. Link reliability based hybrid routing (LRHR) is proposed, which is a novel hybrid routing protocol, for tactical MANET. Contrary to the traditional single path routing strategy, multiple paths are established between a pair of source-destination nodes. In the hybrid routing strategy, the rate of topological change provides a natural mechanism for switching dynamically between table-driven and on-demand routing. The simulation results indicate that the performances of the protocol in packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and average end-to-end delay are better than the conventional routing protocol.

文摘Using the concept of optical transformation, we report on an amplifying device, which can make an arbitrary object enlarged. Its potential application to small object identification and detection is foreseeable. The cylindrical anisotropic amplifying shell could be mimicked by radially symmetrical "sectors" alternating in composition between two profiles of isotropic dielectrics; the permittivity and permeability in each "sector" can be properly determined by the effective medium theory. Both the magnetic and nonmagnetic amplifying devices are validated by full-wave finite element simulations. Good amplifying performance is observed.

文摘As one of essential multimedia in quantum networks, the copyright protection of quantum audio has gradually be- come an important issue in the domain of quantum information hiding in the decades. In this paper, an improved quantum watermarking algorithm based on quantum audio by using least significant qubit (LSQb) modification is proposed. Com- pared with the previous achievements, it can effectively improve the robustness and security of watermark for copyright protection of quantum audio. In the new algorithm, the least significant bites and the peripheral least significant bits of the amplitudes are modified in terms of their logical consistency and correlation to enhance watermark robustness of resisting various illegal attacks. Furthermore, the new algorithm can avoid the weak robustness defect of many previous algorithms that directly embedded the watermark into the least significant bits. In order to implement the new algorithm, some spe- cific quantum circuits are designed to obtain better applicability and scalability for embedding and extracting watermark. Finally, the simulation results including the values of audio waveforms and signal to noise ratios (SNR) prove that the new algorithm has good transparency, robustness, and security.

文摘The issue of proper names recognition in Chinese text was discussed. An automatic approach based on association analysis to extract rules from corpus was presented. The method tries to discover rules relevant to external evidence by association analysis, without additional manual effort. These rules can be used to recognize the proper nouns in Chinese texts. The experimental result shows that our method is practical in some applications. Moreover, the method is language independent.

文摘With the development of modern military technology, uncertain decision-making problems become more and more exigent to be solved in military command and control. Based on game theory, and taking air formation to ground attack-defends campaign as the background, this paper established an opposed dynamic decision-making model. As to the problems in military decision-making in fuzzy condition in uncertainty, this paper put forward a fuzzy-influence-factor, which reflects the fuzzy influence on battle units, and establishes a fuzzy opposed decision-making model in anticipant value and in correlative chance way farther to get strategy equilibrium. It can be seen from the simulating results that the model disposes the fuzzy status in battlefield reasonably, analyzes the fighting results objectively, and offers a powerful decision-making support for military operation. The method is practically and effectively.

文摘The sulfate ions modified YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors were prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and photoluminescence.Effects of sulfate ions on the photoluminescence(PL) property of the as-prepared YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors were studied,with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) being added to R^(3+)(Ce^(3+),Y^(3+),Al^(3+)) ions.Results indicated that pure YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors with different ratios of sulfate ions could be easily obtained by calcining the as-synthesized precursor at 950 ℃ for 2 h,the YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors with an optimal mass ratio of 3.5 wt.%SDS had the highest emission intensity and the best dispersion behavior,and the fluorescence decay of the as-obtained YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors was related to the lattice defect,reabsorption and cross correlation.Furthermore,thermal quenching properties of the YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors and the YAG:Ce^(3+) phosphors with 3.5 wt.%SDS were also discussed,indicating that the YAG:Ce^(3+) with SDS phosphors could have potential applications in the daylight LEDs or warm white LEDs.
