Micro grooves with an aspect ratio of approximately 40 are obtained. The morphology and chemical compositions of the grooves are analyzed using a scanning electronic microscope equipped with an energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy. The formation mechanism of SiC grooves is attributed to the chemical reactions of the laser induced structural changes with a mixed solution of hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. The cooperative caching...At present, there are many effective ways to achieve high performance in cluster system storage management, including server-end disk, server-end caching, local caching and cooperative caching. The cooperative caching mechanism shares caches among different clients so as to avoid expensive disk access costs and to improve overall throughput of cluster system. In this paper, a Single Copy Cooperative Cache model is proposed together with block lookup algorithm, block replacement algorithm and the consistency algorithm based on the model. Meanwhile, the prototype system of the model is implemented in PVFS file system. Finally, the performance of this system is tested in InfiniBand Framework, the result of which shows that in contrast to the original PVFS system, read performance of PVFS file system is improved by about two times, while write performance is reduced by nearly ten percent.展开更多

Methods Germinal center is the generator and selector of high-affinity B cells, a multicellular group's artificial immune algorithm was proposed based on the germinal center reaction mechanism of natural immune systems. Main steps of the algorithm were given, including hyper-mutation, selection, memory, similarity suppression and recruitment of B cells and the convergence of it was proved. Results The algorithm has been tested to optimize various multi-modal functions, and the simulation results show that the artificial immune algorithm proposed here can find multiple extremum of these functions with lower computational cost. Conclusion The algorithm is valid and can converge on the satisfactory solution set D with probability 1 and approach to global solution and many local optimal solutions existed.展开更多

For better quality of strip, a valid method is needed to decide technological parameters precisely and reasonably. In this paper, a method is used based on neural network and genetic algorithm. Neural network has a good ability to extract rules from work process of tension levellers. Then using neural network, which has learned from a lot of working samples, to be the evaluation of fitness, genetic algorithm could easily find the best or better technological parameters. Ho...In order to meet the demands for high transmission rates and high service quality in broadband wireless communication systems, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has been adopted in some standards. However, the inter-block interference (IBI) and inter-carrier interference (ICI) in an OFDM system affect the performance. To mitigate IBI and ICI, some pre-processing approaches have been proposed based on full channel state information (CSI), which improved the system performance. A pre-processing filter based on partial CSI at the transmitter is designed and investigated. The filter coefficient is given by the optimization processing, the symbol error rate (SER) is tested, and the computation complexity of the proposed scheme is analyzed. Computer simulation results show that the proposed pre-processing filter can effectively mitigate IBI and ICI and the performance can be improved. Compared with pre-processing approaches at the transmitter based on full CSI, the proposed scheme has high spectral efficiency, limited CSI feedback and low computation complexity.展开更多

A system model is constructed based on the channel estimation error at receiver side. Using the properties of Wishart distribution, the lower bound of the channel capacity is derived when the MIMO channel is of full rank. Then a method is proposed to select the optimum set of transmit antennas based on the lower bound of the mean channel capacity. The novel method can be easily implemented with low computational complexity. The simulation results show that the channel capacity of MIMO system is sensitive to channel estimation error, and is maximized when the signal-to-noise ratio increases to a certain point. Proper selection of transmit antennas can increase the channel capacity of MIMO system by about 1 bit/s in a flat fading environment with deficient rank of channel matrix.展开更多

There are, however, many features of the distributed software that make the developing methods of distributed software quite different from the traditional ways. Furthermore, the traditional centralized ways with fixed interfaces cannot adapt to the flexible requirements of distributed software. In this paper, the attributed grammar (AG) is extended to refine the characters of distributed software, and a distributed software architecture description language (DSADL) based on attributed grammar is introduced, and then a model of integrated environment for software architecture design is proposed. It can be demonstrated by the practice that DSADL can help the programmers to analyze and design distributed software effectively, so the efficiency of the development can be improved greatly.展开更多

A novel error recovery scheme for JPEG2000 image is presented in this paper, which adopts different techniques for the lowest frequency coefficients and high frequency coefficients in the wavelet domain. The low-frequency recovery algorithm was implemented by adopting the watermarking technique and the packet structure of JPEG2000. The low-frequency eoefficients taken as the hidden data were extracted from the compressed bit stream, and then were embedded back into the bit stream itself prior to transmission. The embedded data were used to recover the information loss. High-frequency reconstruction was performed in bitplane base. The damaged bitplanes were recovered according to the correlation in the wavelet subband structure and by using the algorithm based on the horizontal and vertical edge detection. Experiments verified the effectiveness of these algorithms.展开更多

Educational resources have the characters of distribution and heterogeneity, which are the same as the characters of Grid resources. Therefore, the technology of Grid resources search was adopted to implement the educational resources search. Motivated by the insufficiency of currently resources search methods based on metadata, a method of extracting semantic relations between words constituting metadata is proposed. We mainly focus on acquiring synonymy, hyponymy, hypernymy and parataxis relations. In our schema, we extract texts related to metadata that will be expanded from text spatial through text extraction templates. Next, metadata will be obtained through metadata extraction templates. Finally, we compute semantic similarity to eliminate false relations and construct a semantic expansion knowledge base. The proposed method in this paper has been applied on the education grid.展开更多

In order to accurately describe the dynamic characteristics of flight vehicles through aerodynamic modeling, an adaptive wavelet neural network (AWNN) aerodynamic modeling method is proposed, based on subset kernel pr...In order to accurately describe the dynamic characteristics of flight vehicles through aerodynamic modeling, an adaptive wavelet neural network (AWNN) aerodynamic modeling method is proposed, based on subset kernel principal components analysis (SKPCA) feature extraction. Firstly, by fuzzy C-means clustering, some samples are selected from the training sample set to constitute a sample subset. Then, the obtained samples subset is used to execute SKPCA for extracting basic features of the training samples. Finally, using the extracted basic features, the AWNN aerodynamic model is established. The experimental results show that, in 50 times repetitive modeling, the modeling ability of the method proposed is better than that of other six methods. It only needs about half the modeling time of KPCA-AWNN under a close prediction accuracy, and can easily determine the model parameters. This enables it to be effective and feasible to construct the aerodynamic modeling for flight vehicles.展开更多
With the increasing popularity of cloud computing,privacy has become one of the key problem in cloud security.When data is outsourced to the cloud,for data owners,they need to ensure the security of their privacy;for ...With the increasing popularity of cloud computing,privacy has become one of the key problem in cloud security.When data is outsourced to the cloud,for data owners,they need to ensure the security of their privacy;for cloud service providers,they need some information of the data to provide high QoS services;and for authorized users,they need to access to the true value of data.The existing privacy-preserving methods can't meet all the needs of the three parties at the same time.To address this issue,we propose a retrievable data perturbation method and use it in the privacy-preserving in data outsourcing in cloud computing.Our scheme comes in four steps.Firstly,an improved random generator is proposed to generate an accurate "noise".Next,a perturbation algorithm is introduced to add noise to the original data.By doing this,the privacy information is hidden,but the mean and covariance of data which the service providers may need remain unchanged.Then,a retrieval algorithm is proposed to get the original data back from the perturbed data.Finally,we combine the retrievable perturbation with the access control process to ensure only the authorized users can retrieve the original data.The experiments show that our scheme perturbs date correctly,efficiently,and securely.展开更多

Results The influence of the window step on the short time fractal dimension was discussed. Compared with fixed window steps, more accurate and efficient fractal dimension trajectories were obtained with dynamic window steps. Conclusion The proposed method was applied to a number of speech signals. It shows promise in speech segmentation, speech recognition and other transient signal analysis.展开更多

In this paper, the attributed grammar (AG) is extended to refine the characters of distributed software, and a distributed software architecture description language (DSADL) based on attributed grammar is introduced, and then a model of integrated environment for software architecture design is proposed. It can be demonstrated by the practice that DSADL can help the programmers to analyze and design distributed software effectively, so the efficiency of the development can be improved greatly.
文摘Information loss recovery techniques are important for transmitting images over error-prone channels at the decoder. A novel error recovery scheme for JPEG2000 image is presented in this paper, which adopts different techniques for the lowest frequency coefficients and high frequency coefficients in the wavelet domain. The low-frequency recovery algorithm was implemented by adopting the watermarking technique and the packet structure of JPEG2000. The low-frequency eoefficients taken as the hidden data were extracted from the compressed bit stream, and then were embedded back into the bit stream itself prior to transmission. The embedded data were used to recover the information loss. High-frequency reconstruction was performed in bitplane base. The damaged bitplanes were recovered according to the correlation in the wavelet subband structure and by using the algorithm based on the horizontal and vertical edge detection. Experiments verified the effectiveness of these algorithms.
文摘Multimedia Services has drawn much attention from both industrial and academic researchers due to the emerging consumer market, how to provide High-Availability service is one of most important issues to take into account. In this paper, a dynamic fault tolerant algorithm is presented for highly available distributed multimedia service, then by introducing SLB(server load balancing) into fault tolerance and switching servers in different ways according to their functions, the proposed schema can preserve reliability and real-time of the system .The analysis and experiments indicate that resuming server's faulty by this method is smooth and transparent to the client The proposed algorithm is effectively improving the reliability of the multimedia service.
文摘With the rapid increase of educational resources, how to search for necessary educational resource quickly is one of most important issues. Educational resources have the characters of distribution and heterogeneity, which are the same as the characters of Grid resources. Therefore, the technology of Grid resources search was adopted to implement the educational resources search. Motivated by the insufficiency of currently resources search methods based on metadata, a method of extracting semantic relations between words constituting metadata is proposed. We mainly focus on acquiring synonymy, hyponymy, hypernymy and parataxis relations. In our schema, we extract texts related to metadata that will be expanded from text spatial through text extraction templates. Next, metadata will be obtained through metadata extraction templates. Finally, we compute semantic similarity to eliminate false relations and construct a semantic expansion knowledge base. The proposed method in this paper has been applied on the education grid.

文摘Dual material gate SOI MOSFET with asymmetrical halo can suppress short channel effect and increase carriers transport efficiency. The analytical model of its subthreshold drain current is derived based on the explicit solution of two-dimensional Poisson’s equation in the depletion region. The model takes into consideration the channel length modulation effect and the contribution of the back channel current component. Its validation is verified by comparision with two dimensional device simulator MEDICI.

文摘Device-to-Device(D2D) communication has been proposed as a promising implementation of green communication to benefit the existed cellular network.In order to limit cross-tier interference while explore the gain of short-range communication,we devise a series of distributed power control(DPC) schemes for energy conservation(EC)and enhancement of radio resource utilization in the hybrid system.Firstly,a constrained opportunistic power control model is built up to take advantage of the interference avoidance methodology in the presence of service requirement and power constraint.Then,biasing scheme and admission control are added to evade ineffective power consumption and maintain the feasibility of the system.Upon feasibility,a non-cooperative game is further formulated to exploit the profit in EC with minor influence on spectral efficiency(SE).The convergence of the DPC schemes is validated and their performance is confirmed via simulation results.

文摘In order to accurately describe the dynamic characteristics of flight vehicles through aerodynamic modeling, an adaptive wavelet neural network (AWNN) aerodynamic modeling method is proposed, based on subset kernel principal components analysis (SKPCA) feature extraction. Firstly, by fuzzy C-means clustering, some samples are selected from the training sample set to constitute a sample subset. Then, the obtained samples subset is used to execute SKPCA for extracting basic features of the training samples. Finally, using the extracted basic features, the AWNN aerodynamic model is established. The experimental results show that, in 50 times repetitive modeling, the modeling ability of the method proposed is better than that of other six methods. It only needs about half the modeling time of KPCA-AWNN under a close prediction accuracy, and can easily determine the model parameters. This enables it to be effective and feasible to construct the aerodynamic modeling for flight vehicles.

文摘With the increasing popularity of cloud computing,privacy has become one of the key problem in cloud security.When data is outsourced to the cloud,for data owners,they need to ensure the security of their privacy;for cloud service providers,they need some information of the data to provide high QoS services;and for authorized users,they need to access to the true value of data.The existing privacy-preserving methods can't meet all the needs of the three parties at the same time.To address this issue,we propose a retrievable data perturbation method and use it in the privacy-preserving in data outsourcing in cloud computing.Our scheme comes in four steps.Firstly,an improved random generator is proposed to generate an accurate "noise".Next,a perturbation algorithm is introduced to add noise to the original data.By doing this,the privacy information is hidden,but the mean and covariance of data which the service providers may need remain unchanged.Then,a retrieval algorithm is proposed to get the original data back from the perturbed data.Finally,we combine the retrievable perturbation with the access control process to ensure only the authorized users can retrieve the original data.The experiments show that our scheme perturbs date correctly,efficiently,and securely.
文摘Objective To improve the accuracy of speech segmentation through the improved short time fractal dimension. Methods An equation was established for window size selection of speech analysis. Dynamic Window Step (DWS), a novel method to determine the sliding window steps adaptively in agreement with the local properties of signals, was proposed. Results The influence of the window step on the short time fractal dimension was discussed. Compared with fixed window steps, more accurate and efficient fractal dimension trajectories were obtained with dynamic window steps. Conclusion The proposed method was applied to a number of speech signals. It shows promise in speech segmentation, speech recognition and other transient signal analysis.
