A Comparative Study of State and Guojia from A Cross - disciplinary Perspective

Language is a carrier of culture and a comparative study of the source language and the target language in translation will reflect the differences and similarities of two cultures.Due to different socio-cultural backgrounds and distinctive characteristics of Chinese and English,some concepts about culture are accordingly expressed and translated differently,and it is worthwhile to reflect on these concepts from a cross-disciplinary perspective,such as State and Guojia.The paper tries to explore the connotations of Guo,Jia,Guojia and State,and illustrates how different culture origins results in incomplete equivalence in translation,which can be regarded as a blessing in the times of culture diversity.

Difference Comparison and Cause Analysis of Chinese Culture and French Culture from the Perspective of Cultural Dimension

Cultures of different nations vary,so do cultures at different regions,and they have both differences and similarities. In the multi-cultural era,cultural differences,or even cultural gaps are everywhere,so it is important for us to deal with the relation between different cultures properly. As far as C hinese culture and French culture is concerned,there are also similarities and differences,the latter of which reflects the differences existing in the two different ideological systems having formed through thousands of years.In order to bridge cultural gaps,scholars both at home and abroad research different cultures and get different cross-cultural theories,one of which is the cultural dimension theory put forward by the Dutch scholar Hofstede. Based on such a theory,this paper attempts to make clear the root cause of the differences between C hinese culture and French culture so that people of the two cultures can have a better understanding of each other and can communicate fluently with each other and cultural conflicts will thus reduce and there will be more political,economic and cultural communication between the two cultures.

Energy access challenge and the role of fossil fuels in meeting electricity demand:Promoting renewable energy capacity for sustainable development

The energy access challenge remains a significant barrier to sustainable development,with millions of people still needing access to modern energy services.Fossil fuels have played a crucial role in meeting electricity demand,but they face challenges and drawbacks in terms of environmental sustainability,energy security,and climate change.This study examines how renewable and non-renewable energy generation capacity impacted the environment in 53 upper-middle-income countries from 1990 to 2020,using energy access and alternative energy sources as mediating variables.The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the complex relationship between renewable energy generation capacity,energy access,alternative energy sources,and environmental conditions in upper-middleincome countries.The positive relationship between renewable energy generation capacity and environmental conditions emphasizes the importance and potential of renewable energy sources in mitigating environmental degradation.Additionally,the findings indicate that energy access also plays a crucial role in shaping energy generation patterns,with higher levels of access being associated with increased renewable energy generation and decreased reliance on non-renewable energy sources.These findings highlight the urgent need for policies and measures to promote renewable energy adoption and prioritize energy access to mitigate environmental degradation and achieve sustainable development goals.
