The equilibrium and driven shear flows out of the 2D reconnection plane with symmetric and antisymmetric profiles respectively are used in the simulation. It is found that the out-of-plane flows with shears in-plane can change the quadrupolar structure of the out-of-plane magnetic field and, therefore, modify the growth rate of magnetic reconnection. Furthermore, the driven flow varying along the anti-parallel magnetic field can either enhance or reduce the reconnection rate as the direction of flow changes. Secondary islands are also generated in the process with converting the initial X-point into an O-point.展开更多

However, multicarrier system has a high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR), which will lead to many problems such as lower system performance. In order to solve the problem, a kind of PAPR reduction method based on pruning Wavelet Packet Modulation (WPM) and Partial Transmit Sequences (PTS) technology is proposed in this paper, through proper pruning of the full-tree structure of wavelet packet modulation in the PTS technology to reduce the number of nodes in the system, and finally improve the reduction effect of PAPR. Simulation results show that when Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF) is 10 -3 , PTS based on pruning WPM compared with PTS technique and pruning technique has improved about 1 dB and 1.5 dB, which will not affect the system's Bit Error Rate (BER) performance in the wavelet packet multicarrier system.展开更多

The control combines a model-free fuzzy control, a fuzzy sliding-mode control and a model-based fuzzy control. The model-free fuzzy controller designed for the upswing ensures that the energy of the acrobot increases with each swing. Then the fuzzy sliding-mode controller is employed to control the movement that the acrobot enters the balance area from the swing-up area. The model-based fuzzy controller, which is based on a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model, is used to balance the acrobot. The stability of the fuzzy control system for balance control is guaranteed by a common symmetric positive matrix, which satisfies linear matrix inequalities.展开更多

In this pape...With the increase of pipelines, corrosion leakage accidents happen frequently. Therefore, nondestructive testing technology is important for ensuring the safe operation of the pipelines and energy mining. In this paper, the structure and principle of magnetic flux leakage (MFL) in-line inspection system is introduced first. Besides, a mathematic model of the system according to the ampere circuit rule, flux continuity theorem, and column coordinate transform is built, and the magnetic flux density in every point of space is calculated based on the theory of finite element analysis. Then we analyze and design the disposition of measurement section probes and sensors combining both three-axis MFL in-line inspection and multi-sensor fusion technology. Its advantage is that the three-axis changes of magnetic flux leakage field are measured by the multi-probes at the same time, so we can determine various defects accurately. Finally, the theory of finite element analysis is used to build a finite element simulation model, and the relationship between defects and MFL inspection signals is studied. Simulation and experiment results verify that the method not only enhances the detection ability to different types of defects but also improves the precision and reliability of the inspection system.展开更多

In steel-making production, the plan is not only decided by the steel-making scheduling, but also by the transportation equipment.This paper proposes a genetic algorithm to solve continuous and ingot casting scheduling problems. Based on the characteristics of the problems involved, a genetic algorithm is proposed for solving the bilevel programming problem in steel-making production. Furthermore, based on the simplex method, a new crossover operator is designed to improve the efficiency of the genetic algorithm. Finally, the convergence is analyzed. Using actual data the validity of the proposed algorithm is proved and the application results in the steel plant are analyzed.展开更多

The detection of outliers and change points from time series has become research focus in the area of time series data mining since it can be used for fraud detection, rare event discovery, event/trend change detectio...The detection of outliers and change points from time series has become research focus in the area of time series data mining since it can be used for fraud detection, rare event discovery, event/trend change detection, etc. In most previous works, outlier detection and change point detection have not been related explicitly and the change point detections did not consider the influence of outliers, in this work, a unified detection framework was presented to deal with both of them. The framework is based on ALARCON-AQUINO and BARRIA's change points detection method and adopts two-stage detection to divide the outliers and change points. The advantages of it lie in that: firstly, unified structure for change detection and outlier detection further reduces the computational complexity and make the detective procedure simple; Secondly, the detection strategy of outlier detection before change point detection avoids the influence of outliers to the change point detection, and thus improves the accuracy of the change point detection. The simulation experiments of the proposed method for both model data and actual application data have been made and gotten 100% detection accuracy. The comparisons between traditional detection method and the proposed method further demonstrate that the unified detection structure is more accurate when the time series are contaminated by outliers.展开更多

Compressed sensing is one emerging hotspot in signal processing which employs a special sampling method to capture and represent compressible signals at a rate significantly below the Nyquist rate. In this paper, a Takagi-Sugeno-Kang (TSK) Model based on compressed-sensing sampling theorem is proposed for grinding power. It is further tested by using the actual production data, and the algorithm performance in grinding power model is also analyzed. The experiments show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed modeling method and its bright application foreground in other fields with similar features, such as power, metallurgy and so on.展开更多

We assume that a decentralized static output feedback has been designed for an interconnected continuous-time LTI system so that the closed-loop system is stable and a desired H-infinity disturbance attenuation level is achieved, and that the subsystems' measurement outputs are quantized before they are passed to the local controller. We propose a local-output-dependent strategy for updating the quantizers' parameters, so that the overall closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and achieves the same H-infinity disturbance attenuation level. Both the pre-designed controllers and the quantizers' parameters are constructed in a decentralized manner, depending on local information.展开更多
To get the high compression ratio as well as the high-quality reconstructed image, an effective image compression scheme named irregular segmentation region coding based on spiking cortical model(ISRCS) is presented...To get the high compression ratio as well as the high-quality reconstructed image, an effective image compression scheme named irregular segmentation region coding based on spiking cortical model(ISRCS) is presented. This scheme is region-based and mainly focuses on two issues. Firstly, an appropriate segmentation algorithm is developed to partition an image into some irregular regions and tidy contours, where the crucial regions corresponding to objects are retained and a lot of tiny parts are eliminated. The irregular regions and contours are coded using different methods respectively in the next step. The other issue is the coding method of contours where an efficient and novel chain code is employed. This scheme tries to find a compromise between the quality of reconstructed images and the compression ratio. Some principles and experiments are conducted and the results show its higher performance compared with other compression technologies, in terms of higher quality of reconstructed images, higher compression ratio and less time consuming.展开更多

In this article, a parallel algorithm Scan Once (SO) has been proposed for SMP, which only scans the database once. And this algorithm is fundamentally different from the known parallel algorithm Count Distribution (CD). It adopts bit matrix to store the database information and gets the support of the frequent itemsets by adopting Vector-And-Operation, which greatly improve the efficiency of generating all frequent itemsets. Empirical evaluation shows that the algorithm outperforms the known one CD algorithm.展开更多

The nmnber of nearest neighbors and the weighted features vector are optimized online using the adaptive PSO to improve the prediction accuracy of CBR. The adaptive inertia weight and mutation operation are used to overcome the premature convergence of the PSO. The proposed method is validated a compared with the basic weighted CBR. The results show that the proposed model has higher prediction accuracy and better performance than the basic CBR model.展开更多

文摘Motivated by the complementary relations of the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) entangled tripletparticlestates,a novel way of realizing quantum distributed ballot scheme is proposed.The ballot information is encodedby local operations performed on the particles of entangled GHZ triplet states,which ensures the security of the presentscheme.In order to guarantee the security of this scheme,the checking phase is designed in detail on the basis of theentangled GHZ triplet state.The analysis shows the security of the proposed scheme.

文摘More and more information are needed in social life and commercial production, causing significant pressure on the sampling and too much time spent on signal sampling. Compressed sensing is one emerging hotspot in signal processing which employs a special sampling method to capture and represent compressible signals at a rate significantly below the Nyquist rate. In this paper, a Takagi-Sugeno-Kang (TSK) Model based on compressed-sensing sampling theorem is proposed for grinding power. It is further tested by using the actual production data, and the algorithm performance in grinding power model is also analyzed. The experiments show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed modeling method and its bright application foreground in other fields with similar features, such as power, metallurgy and so on.

文摘In this paper, we consider the design of interconnected H-infinity feedback control systems with quantized signals. We assume that a decentralized static output feedback has been designed for an interconnected continuous-time LTI system so that the closed-loop system is stable and a desired H-infinity disturbance attenuation level is achieved, and that the subsystems' measurement outputs are quantized before they are passed to the local controller. We propose a local-output-dependent strategy for updating the quantizers' parameters, so that the overall closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and achieves the same H-infinity disturbance attenuation level. Both the pre-designed controllers and the quantizers' parameters are constructed in a decentralized manner, depending on local information.

文摘To get the high compression ratio as well as the high-quality reconstructed image, an effective image compression scheme named irregular segmentation region coding based on spiking cortical model(ISRCS) is presented. This scheme is region-based and mainly focuses on two issues. Firstly, an appropriate segmentation algorithm is developed to partition an image into some irregular regions and tidy contours, where the crucial regions corresponding to objects are retained and a lot of tiny parts are eliminated. The irregular regions and contours are coded using different methods respectively in the next step. The other issue is the coding method of contours where an efficient and novel chain code is employed. This scheme tries to find a compromise between the quality of reconstructed images and the compression ratio. Some principles and experiments are conducted and the results show its higher performance compared with other compression technologies, in terms of higher quality of reconstructed images, higher compression ratio and less time consuming.
文摘Many packet communication networks carry several classes of traffic,each with its own service characteristics. The packet arrival processes from each source are also often bursty (highly variable),which can contribute to long packet delay. Ssociated dependence among successive service times and between service times and inter arrival times also can be for packet queues involving variable packet lengths. These dependence effects are demonstrated analytically by considering a multi class single server queue with batch Poisson arrival process.
文摘Mining association rules from large database is very costly. We develop a parallel algorithm for this task on shared-memory multiprocessor (SMP). Most proposed parallel algorithms for association rules mining have to scan the database at least two times. In this article, a parallel algorithm Scan Once (SO) has been proposed for SMP, which only scans the database once. And this algorithm is fundamentally different from the known parallel algorithm Count Distribution (CD). It adopts bit matrix to store the database information and gets the support of the frequent itemsets by adopting Vector-And-Operation, which greatly improve the efficiency of generating all frequent itemsets. Empirical evaluation shows that the algorithm outperforms the known one CD algorithm.

文摘To effectively predict the permeability index of smelting process in the imperial smelting furnace, an intelligent prediction model is proposed. It integrates the case-based reasoning (CBR) with adaptive par- ticle swarm optimization (PSO). The nmnber of nearest neighbors and the weighted features vector are optimized online using the adaptive PSO to improve the prediction accuracy of CBR. The adaptive inertia weight and mutation operation are used to overcome the premature convergence of the PSO. The proposed method is validated a compared with the basic weighted CBR. The results show that the proposed model has higher prediction accuracy and better performance than the basic CBR model.
文摘In this paper, we analyse the deployment of middlebox. For a given network information and policy requirements, an attempt is made to determine the optimal location of middlebox to achieve the best performance. In terms of the end-to-end delay as a performance optimization index, a distributed middlebox placement algorithm based on potential game is proposed. Through extensive simulations, it demonstrates that the proposed algorithm achieves the near-optimal solution, and the end-to-end delay decreases significantly.
