Many scholars at home and abroad prefer to study this novel from feminism, womanism, and writing technique, but few study it from ecowamnism perspcctive. This thesis intends to take The Color Purple of Alice Walker as a research object, ecowomanism as a theoretical basis for reflecting ecowomanism in it and actual meanings. Only when women bravely realized their selfvalue, beauty and preciousness and knew the self-importance and being an independent person from spiritual and body, can they achieve happiness. Intercultural communication, equal and bidirectional, is not only the cultural exchange of target language, but the Chinese language. Foreign language teachers and scholars have emphasized the target language teaching of the west in Chinese universities, and Chinese culture has been neglected for a long time, contributing to"Chinese culture aphasia."Based on this situation, some Chinese cultural enlightenment can be acquired, which improve the ability of Chinese college students to express Chinese culture in English from the analysis of this study.展开更多
