Study on Material ManagementSystem of Coal Enterprise Basedon Data Warehouse

On the bas is of the reality of material supply management of the coal enterprise, this paper expounds plans of material management systems based on specific IT, and indicates the deficiencies, the problems of them and the necessity of improving them. The structure, models and data organizing schema of the material management decision support system are investigated based on a new data management technology (data warehousing technology).

Measurement and Evaluation of Efficiency of Regional Technical Innovation Jiangsu Province

The target system was built to evaluate the efficiency of technical innovation for 13 cities and three regions in Jiangsu province based on the data envelopment analysis. This paper comparatively analyzed the efficiency of innovation and scaling return for each region in Jiangsu province. The projection analysis on production frontier face for inefficient regions was also performed. Evolving rules and regional difference of technical innovation system of Jiangsu province were explored. Some important results and suggestion were obtained.

The Calculation Model for Operation Cost of Coal Resources Development Based on ANN

On the basis of analysis and selection of factors influencing operation cost of coal resources development, fuzzy set method and artificial neural network (ANN) were adopted to set up the classification analysis model of coal resources. The collected samples were classified by using this model. Meanwhile, the pattern recognition model for classifying of the coal resources was built according to the factors influencing operation cost. Based on the results achieved above, in the light of the theory of information diffusion, the calculation model for operation cost of coal resources development has been presented and applied in practice, showing that these models are reasonable.

Analysis of Economic Performance in Mergers and Acquisition

Based on the methods of financial analysis, the direct earnings in mergers and acquisition M&A, profit or loss from stock price fluctuation, influence on the earning per stock(EPS) and revenue growth after M&A were analyzed in detail. And several quantitative models were established in relevant part accordingly. It can be useful to improve the present low efficiency in the M&A performance in Chinese capital market.

Probe into Environmental Kuznets Characteristics and Causes of Wastewater, Waste Gas, and Solid Wastes in Wuhan City

Environmental Kuznets characteristics and causes of waste water, waste gas, and solid wastes in Wuhan city was researched; By comparing the variation of “three wastes”, i.e. waste water, waste gas, and solid wastes, the model between standardized per capita GDP and values of “three wastes” discharge was established and the causes were analyzed based on the theory of environmental economics. The results show that 1) the total amount is fluctuantly increasing, but the discharges of the three kinds are temporarily different, 2) the curve conforms to the three-power function, in which the curve descends from 1985 to 1994, and the curve preliminary shows the environmental Kuznets characteristics from 1995 to 2001, 3) the simulated calculation illustrates that the turning point of this environmental Kuznets curve would be over 25007.25 Yuan per caprta, and 4) the economic development, changing of industry structure, energy resource structure, and environmental policies are the main factors leading to the Environmental Kuznets Curve in Wuhan city.

Quality Characteristics Distribution and Its Simulation Based on Asymmetric Tolerances

The application of normal distribution for quality characteristics has its limits on the condition that specification interval is asymmetric. In this paper, the compound normal distribution N(L,σ21,σ22) was proposed and simulated, the property of the parameters L、σ1 and σ2 was studied. The distribution was further applied toangle quality process control.

Applying Neural Network withGenetic Algorithm and FuzzySelection Models to Select Equipmentsfor Fully-Mechanized Coal Mining

According to the typical engineering samples, a neural net work model with genetic algorithm to optimize weight values is put forward to forecast the productivities and efficiencies of mining faces. By this model we can obtain the possible achievements of available equipment combinations under certain geological situations of fully-mechanized coal mining faces. Then theory of fuzzy selection is applied to evaluate the performance of each equipment combination. By detailed empirical analysis, this model integrates the functions of forecasting mining faces' achievements and selecting optimal equipment combination and is helpful to the decision of equipment combination for fully-mechanized coal mining.

Extensive Taguchi's Quality Loss Function Based On Asymmetric tolerances

If specification interval is asymmetric, basic specification is the target value of quality characteristics. In this paper Taguchi's quality loss function is applied to describe quality loss based on asymmetric tolerances. The measurement of quality loss which is caused by the deviation of quality characteristics from basic specification is further presented.
