This...Based on the multiquadric trigonometric B-spline quasi-interpolant, this paper proposes a meshless scheme for some partial differential equations whose solutions are periodic with respect to the spatial variable. This scheme takes into ac- count the periodicity of the analytic solution by using derivatives of a periodic quasi-interpolant (multiquadric trigonometric B-spline quasi-interpolant) to approximate the spatial derivatives of the equations. Thus, it overcomes the difficulties of the previous schemes based on quasi-interpolation (requiring some additional boundary conditions and yielding unwanted high-order discontinuous points at the boundaries in the spatial domain). Moreover, the scheme also overcomes the dif- ficulty of the meshless collocation methods (i.e., yielding a notorious ill-conditioned linear system of equations for large collocation points). The numerical examples that are presented at the end of the paper show that the scheme provides excellent approximations to the analytic solutions.展开更多

This paper develops a fast Laplace transform method for solving the complex PDE system arising from Parisian and Parasian option pricing.The value functions of the options are governed by a system of partial different...This paper develops a fast Laplace transform method for solving the complex PDE system arising from Parisian and Parasian option pricing.The value functions of the options are governed by a system of partial differential equations(PDEs)of two and three dimensions.Applying the Laplace transform to the PDEs with respect to the calendar time to maturity leads to a coupled system consisting of an ordinary differential equation(ODE)and a 2-dimensional partial differential equation(2d-PDE).The solution to this ODE is found analytically on a specific parabola contour that is used in the fast Laplace inversion,whereas the solution to the 2d-PDE is approximated by solving 1-dimensional integro-differential equations.The Laplace inversion is realized by the fast contour integral methods.Numerical results confirm that the Laplace transform methods have the exponential convergence rates and are more efficient than the implicit finite difference methods,Monte Carlo methods and moving window methods.展开更多

In recent years,it is of great interest to evaluate the level of liabilities of the hybrid pension system as the mixed pension schemes are favored by various countries around the world.This paper further improves the ...In recent years,it is of great interest to evaluate the level of liabilities of the hybrid pension system as the mixed pension schemes are favored by various countries around the world.This paper further improves the hybrid pension liability assessment method proposed by Broeders et al by accounting for inflation risk and assuming that inflation risk is measured by a price index that follows geometric Brownian motion.A simulation-based pricing framework is then introduced to assess the hybrid pension liability.The results show that the introduction of inflation risk increases the total outstanding liability of hybrid pensions.Furthermore,inflation is negatively correlated with the total outstanding liability of the hybrid pension scheme,while inflation volatility is positively correlated with it.展开更多

文摘In this work,we present a unified transformation method directly by using the inverse scattering method for a generalized derivative nonlinear Schrödinger(DNLS)equation.By establishing a matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem and reconstructing potential function q(x,t)from eigenfunctions{Gj(x,t,η)}3/1 in the inverse problem,the initial-boundary value problems for the generalized DNLS equation on the half-line are discussed.Moreover,we also obtain that the spectral functions f(η),s(η),F(η),S(η)are not independent of each other,but meet an important global relation.As applications,the generalized DNLS equation can be reduced to the Kaup-Newell equation and Chen-Lee-Liu equation on the half-line.

文摘In recent years,it is of great interest to evaluate the level of liabilities of the hybrid pension system as the mixed pension schemes are favored by various countries around the world.This paper further improves the hybrid pension liability assessment method proposed by Broeders et al by accounting for inflation risk and assuming that inflation risk is measured by a price index that follows geometric Brownian motion.A simulation-based pricing framework is then introduced to assess the hybrid pension liability.The results show that the introduction of inflation risk increases the total outstanding liability of hybrid pensions.Furthermore,inflation is negatively correlated with the total outstanding liability of the hybrid pension scheme,while inflation volatility is positively correlated with it.

文摘Let X={X(t)∈R^(d),t∈R^(N)}be a centered space-time anisotropic Gaussian random field whose components are independent and satisfy some mild conditions.We study the packing dimension of range X(E)under the anisotropic(time variable)metric space(R^(N),ρ)and(space variable)metric space(R^(d),τ),where E⊂R^(N) is a Borel set.Our results generalize the corresponding results of Estrade,Wu and Xiao(Commun.Stoch.Anal.,5,41-64(2011))for time-anisotropic Gaussian random fields to space-time anisotropic Gaussian fields.

文摘The citrate secreted by the rice(Oryza sativa L.)roots will promote the absorption of phosphate,and this process is described by the Kirk model.In our work,the Kirk model is divided into citrate sub-model and phosphate sub-model.In the citrate sub-model,we obtain the analytical solution of citrate with the Laplace transform,inverse Laplace transform and convolution theorem.The citrate solution is substituted into the phosphate sub-model,and the analytical solution of phosphate is obtained by the separation variable method.The existence of the solutions can be proved by the comparison test,the Weierstrass M-test and the Abel discriminating method.
