The snap-through behaviors and nonlinear vibrations are investigated for a bistable composite laminated cantilever shell subjected to transversal foundation excitation based on experimental and theoretical approaches....The snap-through behaviors and nonlinear vibrations are investigated for a bistable composite laminated cantilever shell subjected to transversal foundation excitation based on experimental and theoretical approaches.An improved experimental specimen is designed in order to satisfy the cantilever support boundary condition,which is composed of an asymmetric region and a symmetric region.The symmetric region of the experimental specimen is entirely clamped,which is rigidly connected to an electromagnetic shaker,while the asymmetric region remains free of constraint.Different motion paths are realized for the bistable cantilever shell by changing the input signal levels of the electromagnetic shaker,and the displacement responses of the shell are collected by the laser displacement sensors.The numerical simulation is conducted based on the established theoretical model of the bistable composite laminated cantilever shell,and an off-axis three-dimensional dynamic snap-through domain is obtained.The numerical solutions are in good agreement with the experimental results.The nonlinear stiffness characteristics,dynamic snap-through domain,and chaos and bifurcation behaviors of the shell are quantitatively analyzed.Due to the asymmetry of the boundary condition and the shell,the upper stable-state of the shell exhibits an obvious soft spring stiffness characteristic,and the lower stable-state shows a linear stiffness characteristic of the shell.展开更多
Shell-infill structures comprise an exterior solid shell and an interior lattice infill,whose closed features yield superior comprehensive mechanical performance and light weight.Additive manufacturing(AM)can ensure t...Shell-infill structures comprise an exterior solid shell and an interior lattice infill,whose closed features yield superior comprehensive mechanical performance and light weight.Additive manufacturing(AM)can ensure the fabrica-tion of complex structures.Although the mechanical behaviors of lattice structures have been extensively studied,the corresponding mechanical performances of integrated-manufactured shell structures with lattice infills should be systematically investigated due to the coupling effect of the exterior shell and lattice infill.This study investigated the mechanical properties and energy absorption of AlSi10Mg shell structures with a body-centered cubic lattice infill fabricated by AM.Quasi-static compressive experiments and corresponding finite element analysis were conducted to investigate the mechanical behavior.In addition,two different finite element modeling methods were compared to determine the appropriate modeling strategy in terms of deformation behavior.A study of different parameters,including lattice diameters and shell thicknesses,was conducted to identify their effect on mechanical performance.The results demonstrate the mechanical advantages of shell-infill structures,in which the exterior shell strengthens the lattice infill by up to 2.3 times in terms of the effective Young’s modulus.Increasing the infill strut diameter can improve the specific energy absorption by up to 1.6 times.展开更多
Machine learning-based methods have emerged as a promising solution to accurate battery capacity estimation for battery management systems.However,they are generally developed in a supervised manner which requires a c...Machine learning-based methods have emerged as a promising solution to accurate battery capacity estimation for battery management systems.However,they are generally developed in a supervised manner which requires a considerable number of input features and corresponding capacities,leading to prohibitive costs and efforts for data collection.In response to this issue,this study proposes a convolutional neural network(CNN)based method to perform end-to-end capacity estimation by taking only raw impedance spectra as input.More importantly,an input reconstruction module is devised to effectively exploit impedance spectra without corresponding capacities in the training process,thereby significantly alleviating the cost of collecting training data.Two large battery degradation datasets encompassing over 4700 impedance spectra are developed to validate the proposed method.The results show that accurate capacity estimation can be achieved when substantial training samples with measured capacities are given.However,the estimation performance of supervised machine learning algorithms sharply deteriorates when fewer samples with measured capacities are available.In this case,the proposed method outperforms supervised benchmarks and can reduce the root mean square error by up to 50.66%.A further validation under different current rates and states of charge confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method.Our method provides a flexible approach to take advantage of unlabelled samples for developing data-driven models and is promising to be generalised to other battery management tasks.展开更多

The development of a battery management algorithm is highly dependent on high-quality battery operation data,especially the data in extreme conditions such as low temperatures.The data in faults are also essential for...The development of a battery management algorithm is highly dependent on high-quality battery operation data,especially the data in extreme conditions such as low temperatures.The data in faults are also essential for failure and safety management research.This study developed a battery big data platform to realize vehicle operation,energy interaction and data management.First,we developed an electric vehicle with vehicle navigation and position detection and designed an environmental cabin that allows the vehicle to operate autonomously.Second,charging and heating systems based on wireless energy transfer were developed and equipped on the vehicle to investigate optimal charging and heating methods of the batteries in the vehicle.Third,the data transmission network was designed,a real-time monitoring interface was developed,and the self-developed battery management system was used to measure,collect,upload,and store battery operation data in real time.Finally,experimental validation was performed on the platform.Results demonstrate the efficiency and reliability of the platform.Battery state of charge estimation is used as an example to illustrate the availability of battery operation data.展开更多
Environmentally friendly nature of CO_(2),associated with its safety and high efficiency,has made it a widely used working fluid in heat exchangers.Since CO_(2)has strange thermophysical features,specific models are r...Environmentally friendly nature of CO_(2),associated with its safety and high efficiency,has made it a widely used working fluid in heat exchangers.Since CO_(2)has strange thermophysical features,specific models are required to estimate its two-phase characteristics,particularly frictional pressure drop(FPD).Herein,a widespread dataset,comprising 1195 experimental samples for two-phase FPD of CO_(2)was adopted from 10 sources to fulfill this requirement.The literature correlations failed to provide satisfactory precisions and exhibited the average absolute relative errors(AAREs)between 29.29% and 67.69% from the analyzed data.By inspiring the theoretical method of Lockhart and Martinelli,three intelligent FPD models were presented,among which the Gaussian process regression approach surpassed the others with AARE and R^(2)values of 5.48% and 98.80%,respectively in the test stage.A novel simple correlation was also derived based on the least square fitting method,which yielded opportune predictions with AARE of 19.76% for all data.The truthfulness of the newly proposed models was assessed through a variety of statistical and visual analyses,and the results affirmed their high reliability over a broad range of conditions,channel sizes and flow patterns.Furthermore,the novel models performed favorably in describing the physical attitudes corresponding to two-phase FPD of CO_(2).Eventually,the importance of operating factors in controlling the FPD was discussed through a sensitivity analysis.展开更多
A magnetically filtered cathode vacuum arc deposition system was used to deposit Ti-doped diamond-like carbon coatings(Ti-DLC)on pin surfaces to improve the wear resistance of high-power density diesel engine piston p...A magnetically filtered cathode vacuum arc deposition system was used to deposit Ti-doped diamond-like carbon coatings(Ti-DLC)on pin surfaces to improve the wear resistance of high-power density diesel engine piston pins.The coating structure,composition,and morphology were characterised using field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Raman spectroscopy,and other techniques.Friction tests were carried out using a universal tribometer to study the tribological properties of pins with or without coatings under dry friction and oil lubrication.The surface morphology and cross-sectional morphology of the Ti-DLC coating show that the coating has a uniform crosssection and good surface properties.The XPS spectrum shows that the coating contains Ti-C,Ti-C*,sp2-C,sp3-C,and C-O/C=O.Raman spectroscopy shows that there is an amorphous carbon phase in the Ti-DLC coating.The friction test shows that the friction temperature increase of the pin with the Ti-DLC coating is lower than that without the coating,especially under dry-friction conditions.At the end of the test,the difierence in temperature increase is 16.7%.The friction coefficient when using high-viscosity lubricating oil with a coating is relatively lower than that without a coating,especially under low-speed and heavy-duty conditions.In the dryfriction state,the coated surface has better wear resistance than the uncoated surface,which primarily manifests as abrasive wear,and the surface without a coating mainly experiences adhesive wear.展开更多
The contribution rate of equipment system-of-systems architecture(ESoSA)is an important index to evaluate the equipment update,development,and architecture optimization.Since the traditional ESoSA contribution rate ev...The contribution rate of equipment system-of-systems architecture(ESoSA)is an important index to evaluate the equipment update,development,and architecture optimization.Since the traditional ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method does not make full use of the fuzzy information and uncertain information in the equipment system-of-systems(ESoS),and the Bayesian network is an effective tool to solve the uncertain information,a new ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method based on the fuzzy Bayesian network(FBN)is proposed.Firstly,based on the operation loop theory,an ESoSA is constructed considering three aspects:reconnaissance equipment,decision equipment,and strike equipment.Next,the fuzzy set theory is introduced to construct the FBN of ESoSA to deal with fuzzy information and uncertain information.Furthermore,the fuzzy importance index of the root node of the FBN is used to calculate the contribution rate of the ESoSA,and the ESoSA contribution rate evaluation model based on the root node fuzzy importance is established.Finally,the feasibility and rationality of this method are validated via an empirical case study of aviation ESoSA.Compared with traditional methods,the evaluation method based on FBN takes various failure states of equipment into consideration,is free of acquiring accurate probability of traditional equipment failure,and models the uncertainty of the relationship between equipment.The proposed method not only supplements and improves the ESoSA contribution rate assessment method,but also broadens the application scope of the Bayesian network.展开更多

Firstly,the change rule in each swing angle of the hydraulic quadruped robot's four legs is analyzed and converted to the displacement change of the hydraulic cylinder by calculating their geometric relationship.Secondly,the robot's dynamic model is built in ADAMS and its hydraulic and control system models are built in AMESim. The displacement change of the hydraulic cylinder in the hydraulic system is used as the driving function of the dynamics model in ADAMS,and the driving force of the dynamics model is used as the loads of the hydraulic system in AMESim. By introducing the PID closed-loop control in the control system,the co-simulation between hydraulic system and mechanical system is implemented. Finally,the curve of hydraulic cylinders' loads,flow and pressure are analyzed and the results show that they fluctuate highly in accordance with the real situation. The study provides data support for the development of a hydraulic quadruped robot's physical prototype.展开更多
Maximizing the utilization of lithium-ion battery capacity is an important means to alleviate the range anxiety of electric vehicles.Battery pack inconsistency is the main limiting factor for improving battery pack ca...Maximizing the utilization of lithium-ion battery capacity is an important means to alleviate the range anxiety of electric vehicles.Battery pack inconsistency is the main limiting factor for improving battery pack capacity utilization,and poses major safety hazards to energy storage systems.To solve this problem,a maximum capacity utilization scheme based on a path planning algorithm is proposed.Specifically,the reconfigurable topology proposed is highly flexible and fault-tolerant,enabling battery pack consistency through alternating cell discharge and reducing the increased risk of short circuits due to relay error.The Dijkstra algorithm is used to find the optimal energy path,which can effectively remove faulty cells and find the current path with the best consistency of the battery pack and the lowest relay loss.Finally,the effectiveness of the scheme is verified by hardware-in-the-loop experiments,and the experimental results show that the state-of-charge SOC consistency of the battery pack at the end of discharge is increased by 34.18%,the relay energy loss is reduced by 0.16%,and the fault unit is effectively isolated.展开更多

Torques from pneumatic action applied onto axles of nozzle vanes have been calculated. Test results obtained through repeated experiments are quite congruent,confirming the effectiveness of this simple method. Results have indicated that,with a fixed opening angle of guide vane,pneumatic torque increases with mass flow of air jet in the turbine; moreover,under the same mass flow rate,torque decreases with reducing opening angle,even possibly change direction down to negative. The results have also provided a modus operandi for designing nozzle-adjusting devices as well as validation data for numerical study on changes of pneumatic torque onto guide vanes under full engine operating conditions.展开更多

Three CrN coatings were deposited on the Inconel X750 through the metal vapor vacuum arc ion implantation and the magnetic filtered cathodic vacuum arc deposition system(MEVVA-FCVA) with the N2 flow rates of 10,50,and...Three CrN coatings were deposited on the Inconel X750 through the metal vapor vacuum arc ion implantation and the magnetic filtered cathodic vacuum arc deposition system(MEVVA-FCVA) with the N2 flow rates of 10,50,and 100sccm, respectively.The surface morphologies and cross-section morphologies of the CrN coatings were obtained through scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and an optical profilometer.The microstructures of the coatings were characterized through X-ray diffraction(XRD).The hardness and the elastic modulus of the coatings were tested by a nano-hardness tester.The adhesion strength and friction coefficients were investigated through scratch tests and ball-on-disk tests and the wear tracks were tested by the optical profilometer. The experimental results indicate that the CrN coating deposited on the Inconel X750 substrate displays a uniform thickness and a smooth surface. The mechanical properties behaves well as the N2 flow rate varies.The CrN coating significantly reduces the friction coefficient fluctuation and improves the antiadhesion and anti-wear properties of the Inconel X750.展开更多
A total of 14 in-use diesel buses were selected to conduct emission measurement using a portable emissions measurement system(PEMS)in Beijing.Their instantaneous gaseous emission rates,particular matter(PM)emission ra...A total of 14 in-use diesel buses were selected to conduct emission measurement using a portable emissions measurement system(PEMS)in Beijing.Their instantaneous gaseous emission rates,particular matter(PM)emission rates and driving parameters were obtained.The influences of speed,acceleration and vehicle specific power(VSP)on emissions were analyzed.Based on the relationships between these driving parameters and emissions,24 driving bins defined by speed,acceleration and VSP were constructed with cluster analysis to group emission rates for Euro Ⅲ and Ⅳ buses,respectively.Then the emissions reductions from Euro Ⅲ to Euro Ⅳ diesel buses were analyzed.Lastly,on-road hot-stabilized emission rate model for diesel buses in Beijing was developed.Through the comparison of the model simulation emission rates with the measured emission rates,the modeled emission results were in good agreement with the measured emission results.In most of the cases,the differences were less than 12%.展开更多

Based on the traffic conflict technology, the image data were collected in a real traffic situation. The relationship was investigated under two different conditions. The number of opposing left-turn conflicts was positively correlated with the number of left-turn vehicles while the ratio of left-turn vehicles to opposing vehicles was less than 1, and showed a positive correlation with the number of opposing-through vehicles when the ratio of left-turn vehicles to opposing vehicles was more than 1. In other words, the opposing left-turn risk was positively correlated with the number of the minor traffic participants, which had a negative effect on the whole traffic system operation.展开更多

The principle and requirement of slowdriving function were analyzed. Based on analysis of slow driving characteristic,identification of slowdriving condition and fuzzy control algorithm,a control strategy of the clutch was designed. In order to realize slowdriving,the clutch was controlled in a slipping mode as manual driving. The vehicle speed was increased to a required speed and kept in a small range by engaging or disengaging the clutch to the approximate half engagement point. Based on the control strategy,a control software was designed and tested on a tracked vehicle with AMT. The test results showthat the control of the clutch with the slowdriving function was smoother than that with original systemand the vehicle speed was slower and steadier.展开更多

Sheet specimens of Q 235 steel with prefabricated micro-cracks of different widths and of aluminum with prefabricated micro-cracks of different depths were detected through the designed detection system. The characteristics of micro-cracks can be clearly showed after signals processing through the short-time Fourier transform( STFT). By changing the parameter and its value in detecting process,the factors including the excitation frequency and amplitude,the lift-off effect and the scanning direction were discussed,respectively. The results showed that the differential excitation probe was insensitive to dimension and surface state of the tested specimen,while it had a high degree of recognition for micro-crack detection. Therefore,when the differential excitation detection technology was used for inspecting micro-crack of turbine blade in aero-engine,and smoothed pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution was used for signal processing,micro-cracks of 0. 3 mm depth and 0. 1 mm width could be identified. The experimental results might be useful for further research on engineering test of turbine blades of aero-engine.展开更多

文摘Aiming at addressing the problem of manoeuvring decision-making in UAV air combat,this study establishes a one-to-one air combat model,defines missile attack areas,and uses the non-deterministic policy Soft-Actor-Critic(SAC)algorithm in deep reinforcement learning to construct a decision model to realize the manoeuvring process.At the same time,the complexity of the proposed algorithm is calculated,and the stability of the closed-loop system of air combat decision-making controlled by neural network is analysed by the Lyapunov function.This study defines the UAV air combat process as a gaming process and proposes a Parallel Self-Play training SAC algorithm(PSP-SAC)to improve the generalisation performance of UAV control decisions.Simulation results have shown that the proposed algorithm can realize sample sharing and policy sharing in multiple combat environments and can significantly improve the generalisation ability of the model compared to independent training.

文摘The development of a battery management algorithm is highly dependent on high-quality battery operation data,especially the data in extreme conditions such as low temperatures.The data in faults are also essential for failure and safety management research.This study developed a battery big data platform to realize vehicle operation,energy interaction and data management.First,we developed an electric vehicle with vehicle navigation and position detection and designed an environmental cabin that allows the vehicle to operate autonomously.Second,charging and heating systems based on wireless energy transfer were developed and equipped on the vehicle to investigate optimal charging and heating methods of the batteries in the vehicle.Third,the data transmission network was designed,a real-time monitoring interface was developed,and the self-developed battery management system was used to measure,collect,upload,and store battery operation data in real time.Finally,experimental validation was performed on the platform.Results demonstrate the efficiency and reliability of the platform.Battery state of charge estimation is used as an example to illustrate the availability of battery operation data.

文摘Environmentally friendly nature of CO_(2),associated with its safety and high efficiency,has made it a widely used working fluid in heat exchangers.Since CO_(2)has strange thermophysical features,specific models are required to estimate its two-phase characteristics,particularly frictional pressure drop(FPD).Herein,a widespread dataset,comprising 1195 experimental samples for two-phase FPD of CO_(2)was adopted from 10 sources to fulfill this requirement.The literature correlations failed to provide satisfactory precisions and exhibited the average absolute relative errors(AAREs)between 29.29% and 67.69% from the analyzed data.By inspiring the theoretical method of Lockhart and Martinelli,three intelligent FPD models were presented,among which the Gaussian process regression approach surpassed the others with AARE and R^(2)values of 5.48% and 98.80%,respectively in the test stage.A novel simple correlation was also derived based on the least square fitting method,which yielded opportune predictions with AARE of 19.76% for all data.The truthfulness of the newly proposed models was assessed through a variety of statistical and visual analyses,and the results affirmed their high reliability over a broad range of conditions,channel sizes and flow patterns.Furthermore,the novel models performed favorably in describing the physical attitudes corresponding to two-phase FPD of CO_(2).Eventually,the importance of operating factors in controlling the FPD was discussed through a sensitivity analysis.

文摘A magnetically filtered cathode vacuum arc deposition system was used to deposit Ti-doped diamond-like carbon coatings(Ti-DLC)on pin surfaces to improve the wear resistance of high-power density diesel engine piston pins.The coating structure,composition,and morphology were characterised using field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Raman spectroscopy,and other techniques.Friction tests were carried out using a universal tribometer to study the tribological properties of pins with or without coatings under dry friction and oil lubrication.The surface morphology and cross-sectional morphology of the Ti-DLC coating show that the coating has a uniform crosssection and good surface properties.The XPS spectrum shows that the coating contains Ti-C,Ti-C*,sp2-C,sp3-C,and C-O/C=O.Raman spectroscopy shows that there is an amorphous carbon phase in the Ti-DLC coating.The friction test shows that the friction temperature increase of the pin with the Ti-DLC coating is lower than that without the coating,especially under dry-friction conditions.At the end of the test,the difierence in temperature increase is 16.7%.The friction coefficient when using high-viscosity lubricating oil with a coating is relatively lower than that without a coating,especially under low-speed and heavy-duty conditions.In the dryfriction state,the coated surface has better wear resistance than the uncoated surface,which primarily manifests as abrasive wear,and the surface without a coating mainly experiences adhesive wear.

文摘The contribution rate of equipment system-of-systems architecture(ESoSA)is an important index to evaluate the equipment update,development,and architecture optimization.Since the traditional ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method does not make full use of the fuzzy information and uncertain information in the equipment system-of-systems(ESoS),and the Bayesian network is an effective tool to solve the uncertain information,a new ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method based on the fuzzy Bayesian network(FBN)is proposed.Firstly,based on the operation loop theory,an ESoSA is constructed considering three aspects:reconnaissance equipment,decision equipment,and strike equipment.Next,the fuzzy set theory is introduced to construct the FBN of ESoSA to deal with fuzzy information and uncertain information.Furthermore,the fuzzy importance index of the root node of the FBN is used to calculate the contribution rate of the ESoSA,and the ESoSA contribution rate evaluation model based on the root node fuzzy importance is established.Finally,the feasibility and rationality of this method are validated via an empirical case study of aviation ESoSA.Compared with traditional methods,the evaluation method based on FBN takes various failure states of equipment into consideration,is free of acquiring accurate probability of traditional equipment failure,and models the uncertainty of the relationship between equipment.The proposed method not only supplements and improves the ESoSA contribution rate assessment method,but also broadens the application scope of the Bayesian network.
文摘In order to observe the change and fluctuation in flow and pressure of a hydraulic quadruped robot's hydraulic system when the robot walks on trot gait,a co-simulation method based on ADAMS and AMESim is proposed. Firstly,the change rule in each swing angle of the hydraulic quadruped robot's four legs is analyzed and converted to the displacement change of the hydraulic cylinder by calculating their geometric relationship.Secondly,the robot's dynamic model is built in ADAMS and its hydraulic and control system models are built in AMESim. The displacement change of the hydraulic cylinder in the hydraulic system is used as the driving function of the dynamics model in ADAMS,and the driving force of the dynamics model is used as the loads of the hydraulic system in AMESim. By introducing the PID closed-loop control in the control system,the co-simulation between hydraulic system and mechanical system is implemented. Finally,the curve of hydraulic cylinders' loads,flow and pressure are analyzed and the results show that they fluctuate highly in accordance with the real situation. The study provides data support for the development of a hydraulic quadruped robot's physical prototype.

文摘Maximizing the utilization of lithium-ion battery capacity is an important means to alleviate the range anxiety of electric vehicles.Battery pack inconsistency is the main limiting factor for improving battery pack capacity utilization,and poses major safety hazards to energy storage systems.To solve this problem,a maximum capacity utilization scheme based on a path planning algorithm is proposed.Specifically,the reconfigurable topology proposed is highly flexible and fault-tolerant,enabling battery pack consistency through alternating cell discharge and reducing the increased risk of short circuits due to relay error.The Dijkstra algorithm is used to find the optimal energy path,which can effectively remove faulty cells and find the current path with the best consistency of the battery pack and the lowest relay loss.Finally,the effectiveness of the scheme is verified by hardware-in-the-loop experiments,and the experimental results show that the state-of-charge SOC consistency of the battery pack at the end of discharge is increased by 34.18%,the relay energy loss is reduced by 0.16%,and the fault unit is effectively isolated.

文摘Extensive experimental studies are performed using force sensors to measure actuating forces of nozzle ring devices of variable nozzle turbines. Torques from pneumatic action applied onto axles of nozzle vanes have been calculated. Test results obtained through repeated experiments are quite congruent,confirming the effectiveness of this simple method. Results have indicated that,with a fixed opening angle of guide vane,pneumatic torque increases with mass flow of air jet in the turbine; moreover,under the same mass flow rate,torque decreases with reducing opening angle,even possibly change direction down to negative. The results have also provided a modus operandi for designing nozzle-adjusting devices as well as validation data for numerical study on changes of pneumatic torque onto guide vanes under full engine operating conditions.

文摘A kind of automatic shift schedule optimization method is provided for a tracked vehicle with hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission in order to improve its dynamic performance. A dynamic model of integrated hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission is built in MATLAB/Simdriveline environment, and an optimum shift schedule is derived by using iSight software to call the dynamic model above, then the shift schedule is achieved after optimization. The simulation results show that the method is significant to improve the dynamic performance and gear-shifting smoothness theoretically and practically.
文摘Based on wavelet transform theory,a method for signal de-noising and singularity detection and elimination is proposed,which can reduce the noises and express local singularity.Each singularity can also be detected and located through the local modulus maxima of wavelet transform.Simulation experiments are conducted with MATLAB software.The experimental results demonstrate that the method proposed in this paper is effective and feasible.

文摘Three CrN coatings were deposited on the Inconel X750 through the metal vapor vacuum arc ion implantation and the magnetic filtered cathodic vacuum arc deposition system(MEVVA-FCVA) with the N2 flow rates of 10,50,and 100sccm, respectively.The surface morphologies and cross-section morphologies of the CrN coatings were obtained through scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and an optical profilometer.The microstructures of the coatings were characterized through X-ray diffraction(XRD).The hardness and the elastic modulus of the coatings were tested by a nano-hardness tester.The adhesion strength and friction coefficients were investigated through scratch tests and ball-on-disk tests and the wear tracks were tested by the optical profilometer. The experimental results indicate that the CrN coating deposited on the Inconel X750 substrate displays a uniform thickness and a smooth surface. The mechanical properties behaves well as the N2 flow rate varies.The CrN coating significantly reduces the friction coefficient fluctuation and improves the antiadhesion and anti-wear properties of the Inconel X750.

文摘A total of 14 in-use diesel buses were selected to conduct emission measurement using a portable emissions measurement system(PEMS)in Beijing.Their instantaneous gaseous emission rates,particular matter(PM)emission rates and driving parameters were obtained.The influences of speed,acceleration and vehicle specific power(VSP)on emissions were analyzed.Based on the relationships between these driving parameters and emissions,24 driving bins defined by speed,acceleration and VSP were constructed with cluster analysis to group emission rates for Euro Ⅲ and Ⅳ buses,respectively.Then the emissions reductions from Euro Ⅲ to Euro Ⅳ diesel buses were analyzed.Lastly,on-road hot-stabilized emission rate model for diesel buses in Beijing was developed.Through the comparison of the model simulation emission rates with the measured emission rates,the modeled emission results were in good agreement with the measured emission results.In most of the cases,the differences were less than 12%.

文摘The relationship between the opposing left-turn conflict and the traffic participants was analyzed in this study. Based on the traffic conflict technology, the image data were collected in a real traffic situation. The relationship was investigated under two different conditions. The number of opposing left-turn conflicts was positively correlated with the number of left-turn vehicles while the ratio of left-turn vehicles to opposing vehicles was less than 1, and showed a positive correlation with the number of opposing-through vehicles when the ratio of left-turn vehicles to opposing vehicles was more than 1. In other words, the opposing left-turn risk was positively correlated with the number of the minor traffic participants, which had a negative effect on the whole traffic system operation.

文摘A method to analyze the effect of form errors and local deformation on the assembly accuracy and its stability in a non-rigid assembly system is proposed.The contact finite element method was used to obtain local deformation of mating surfaces,which was superposed onto form errors to obtain real mating surface data of assemblies.Then mating variation was obtained by establishing virtual contact planes.Finally,an experiment of the assembly of two cylindrical components was carried out to verify the validity of the proposed method.By comparing the calculation accuracies of 3Dassembly with and without taking into account local deformation,the results showed that the effects of local deformation of mating surfaces on calculation accuracy of mating variation was not neglectable compared with form errors.

文摘In order to move tracked vehicles at an extremely slowspeed with automated mechanical transmission( AMT),slowdriving function was added in the original system. The principle and requirement of slowdriving function were analyzed. Based on analysis of slow driving characteristic,identification of slowdriving condition and fuzzy control algorithm,a control strategy of the clutch was designed. In order to realize slowdriving,the clutch was controlled in a slipping mode as manual driving. The vehicle speed was increased to a required speed and kept in a small range by engaging or disengaging the clutch to the approximate half engagement point. Based on the control strategy,a control software was designed and tested on a tracked vehicle with AMT. The test results showthat the control of the clutch with the slowdriving function was smoother than that with original systemand the vehicle speed was slower and steadier.

文摘A differential excitation probe based on eddy current testing technology was designed. Sheet specimens of Q 235 steel with prefabricated micro-cracks of different widths and of aluminum with prefabricated micro-cracks of different depths were detected through the designed detection system. The characteristics of micro-cracks can be clearly showed after signals processing through the short-time Fourier transform( STFT). By changing the parameter and its value in detecting process,the factors including the excitation frequency and amplitude,the lift-off effect and the scanning direction were discussed,respectively. The results showed that the differential excitation probe was insensitive to dimension and surface state of the tested specimen,while it had a high degree of recognition for micro-crack detection. Therefore,when the differential excitation detection technology was used for inspecting micro-crack of turbine blade in aero-engine,and smoothed pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution was used for signal processing,micro-cracks of 0. 3 mm depth and 0. 1 mm width could be identified. The experimental results might be useful for further research on engineering test of turbine blades of aero-engine.
