For another, we can also discover his moral cri-tiques on capitalism. For this reason,it has great practical significance to clarify the relationshipbetween Marmsm and morality. This topic will be elucidated under the background of histori-cal materialism and clarified from two aspects in this essay:to make sure why Marx's critiqueof capitalism does not base on moral principle and point out diametrically theoretical founda-tion between historical materialism and traditional morality;to clarify in what sense Marx is anamoralist, and emphasize it is in his rejection of abstract morality as guiding principle of critici-zing capitalism that he is an amoralist.展开更多

Based on the discussion of rational presuppositions of critical thinking in Western cultures, this article argues that, while Western critical thinking presets a kind of rationality which is biased to-wards descriptive logic rather than prescriptive logic, the virtue - centered traditional Chinese culture cultivates a gener-al habit of using methods of prescriptive logic. Descriptive logic accounts for “how to get” true judgments while pre- scriprive logic aims at explaining “why a true judgment is true”. Critical thinking education in China should pay more attention to the role descriptive logic plays. The fact that the new - media infomiarion disseminarion is deepening in- tercultiiral communication makes it necessary to implement critical thinking education in China, but the implementa-tion should be focused on cultivating the students* ability to organize discourse in a logical way.展开更多

His philosophical transformation broke with the idealist ontology of old philosophy and made philosophical studies connect with reality. His historical materialism starts with the material production activities of human beings in the real world, discloses the rules and trends of the development of human societies, and reveals the sources and trends of the formation and development of world history. His theory of world history throws light on the source, impetus and trends by which human societies transition from regional history to world history, and scientifically analyzes the position and role of capitalism in world history, furnishing an ideological weapon for understanding economic globalization. Marx's thoughts on economic globalization mainly reveal the nature and trends of economic globalization; he emphasizes that economic globalization is a result of the global expansion of capitalism.展开更多
