Brittleness is one of the basic characteristics of a complex system. In a complex system, after one of subsystems is struck to be collapsed, the whole system will collapse. Meanwhile, cellular automata is a discrete dynamic system. When the rule is given, the cellular automata could be defined. Then it can imitate the complex action. Cellular automata is used to simulate the brittleness action in this study. Entropy was used to analyze the action and get the rule. Then,three normal brittleness models were given. The result shows that the brittleness of complex system is existent and in addition some important behavior mode of complex system brittleness has been achieved.展开更多

The first-order moments of all kinds of flames used in our experiments present irregularly flickering, and their average changing pixel numbers of first-order moments are greater than fire-like disturbances. For the analysis of flicker frequency of flame, which is extracted and calculated in spatial domain, and therefore it is computational simple and fast. The method of extracting flicker frequency from video images is not affected by the catalogues of combustion material and distance. In experiments, we adopted two kinds of flames, i. e. , fixed flame and movable flame. Many comparing and disturbing experiments were done and verified that the methods can be used as criteria for early fire detection.展开更多

Based on the multi-resolution analysis (MRA) of wavelet...As there are lots of non-linear systems in the real engineering, it is very important to do more researches on the modeling and prediction of non-linear systems. Based on the multi-resolution analysis (MRA) of wavelet theory, this paper combined the wavelet theory with neural network and established a MRA wavelet network with the scaling function and wavelet function as its neurons. From the analysis in the frequency domain, the results indicated that MRA wavelet network was better than other wavelet networks in the ability of approaching to the signals. An essential research was carried out on modeling and prediction with MRA wavelet network in the non-linear system. Using the lengthwise sway data received from the experiment of ship model, a model of offline prediction was established and was applied to the short-time prediction of ship motion. The simulation results indicated that the forecasting model improved the prediction precision effectively, lengthened the forecasting time and had a better prediction results than that of AR linear model.The research indicates that it is feasible to use the MRA wavelet network in the short -time prediction of ship motion.展开更多

The significant middle frequency coefficients in the transformation matrix are picked up, based on characteristics of the image visual system and the Haar orthogonal transform. The watermark is adoptively weighed to the middle frequency matrix. The method improves the validity of watermarking and shows excellent advantage against shearing attack. Experimental results show that the Haar orthogonal function system based watermark approach can provide an excellent protection under geometric attacks.展开更多

In this paper, a digital closed loop detection method based on the ramp wave modulating technigue is introduced. DSP and FPGA have many advantages in digital signal processing. In the design, by using DSP, a complex arithmetic operation is completed to meet the needs of closed loop control of FOG within a short time. All kinds of control signals are produced easily by FPGA, under which DSP could work properly. Combining the DSP and FPGA, the detecting method is implemented successfully. In the end, the result of test and performance is given. From the result we can conclude that the precision of FOG is improved and the noises are limited to a low level.展开更多

The control of the heading error and cross-track error was accomplished by the yaw torque merely in this case. The hovercraft dynamic model is nonlinear and underactuated. At first the Controllability of course-keeping control for hovercraft was proved, then a course-keeping control law was derived that keeps hovercraft heading constant as well as minimizes the lateral movement of hovercraft. The proposed law guarantees heading error and sway error all converge to zero exponentially. Simulation tests were carried out to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control law. In other words, the communication information within the system may be received by other federates that participated in this united simulation. For the purpose of ensuring simulation system unitary character, a hierarchical federation architecture (HFA) is taken. Also considering the real situation, where federates in a complicated simulation system can be made simpler to an extent, a multi-resolution modeling (MRM) method is imported to implement the design of hierarchical federation. By utilizing the multiple resolution entity (MRE) modeling approach, MRE for federates are designed out. When different level training simulation is required, the appropriate MRE at corresponding layers can be called. The design method realizes the reuse feature of the simulation system and reduces simulation complexity and improves the validity of system Simulation Cost (SC). The approach relaxes the hypothesis that the upper bound of function control gain is known constant and the bounds of external disturbance and approximation errors of neural'networks are known. RBF neural networks (NNs) are used to approximate unknown functions and an H-infinity controller is introduced to enhance robustness. The adaptive updating laws and the admissible switching signals have been derived from switched multiple Lyapunov function method. It's proved that the resulting closed loop system is asymptotically Lyapunov stable such that the output tracking error performance and H-infinity disturbance attenuation level are well obtained. Finally, a simulation example of Forced Duffing systems is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme and improve significantly the transient performance.展开更多

How to control iteffectively is the problem that many scholars are studying. In this paper, based on the repeatedcontrol of the robot, the self-learning arithmetic was worked out. The arithmetic was realized infuzzy logic way and used in cargo steering. It is the first time for the arithmetic to be used incargo steering. Our simulation results show that the arithmetic is effective and has severalpotential advantages over conventional fuzzy control. 文摘Fuzzy control has shown success in some application areas and emerged as analternative to some conventional control schemes. There are also some drawbacks in this approach,for example it is hard to justify the choice of fuzzy controller parameters and control rules, andcontrol precision is low, and so on. Fuzzy control is developing towards self-learning and adaptive.The ship steering motion is a nonlinear, coupling, time-delay complicated system. How to control iteffectively is the problem that many scholars are studying. In this paper, based on the repeatedcontrol of the robot, the self-learning arithmetic was worked out. The arithmetic was realized infuzzy logic way and used in cargo steering. It is the first time for the arithmetic to be used incargo steering. Our simulation results show that the arithmetic is effective and has severalpotential advantages over conventional fuzzy control. This work lays a foundation in modeling andanalyzing the fuzzy learning control system.
文摘The paper specifically introduces the composition, principle and realization ofa distributed mutlimedia intelligent meta-synthesis system oriented to remote diagnoses and education--Lower Mandibular Third Molar Intelligent Meta-synthesis System. With the OOL--Delphi3.0/4.0, the expert intelligent subsystem implements the function of resistance analysis and the computer aided decision-making to the disign of drawing teeth of lower mandibular third molar. For the sake of remote diagnoses, the system adopts FrontPage98 to design home pages which can be interfaced in IE and NETSCAPE easily.
