Exploring the Core-shell Structure of BaTiO3-based Dielectric Ceramics Using Machine Learning Models and Interpretability Analysis

A machine learning(ML)-based random forest(RF)classification model algorithm was employed to investigate the main factors affecting the formation of the core-shell structure of BaTiO_(3)-based ceramics and their interpretability was analyzed by using Shapley additive explanations(SHAP).An F1-score changed from 0.8795 to 0.9310,accuracy from 0.8450 to 0.9070,precision from 0.8714 to 0.9000,recall from 0.8929 to 0.9643,and ROC/AUC value of 0.97±0.03 was achieved by the RF classification with the optimal set of features containing only 5 features,demonstrating the high accuracy of our model and its high robustness.During the interpretability analysis of the model,it was found that the electronegativity,melting point,and sintering temperature of the dopant contribute highly to the formation of the core-shell structure,and based on these characteristics,specific ranges were delineated and twelve elements were finally obtained that met all the requirements,namely Si,Sc,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Pd,Er,Tm,Lu,Pa,and Cm.In the process of exploring the structure of the core-shell,the doping elements can be effectively localized to be selected by choosing the range of features. 展开更多

The epitaxial heterostructure can be rationally designed based on the in situ growth of two compatible phases with lattice similarity,in which the modulated electronic states and tuned adsorption behaviors are conducive to the enhancement of electrocatalytic activity.Herein,theoretical simulations first disclose the charge transfer trend and reinforced inherent electron conduction around the epitaxial heterointerface between Ru clusters and Ni_(3)N substrate(cRu-Ni_(3)N),thus leading to the optimized adsorption behaviors and reduced activation energy barriers.Subsequently,the defectrich nanosheets with the epitaxially grown cRu-Ni_(3)N heterointerface are successfully constructed.Impressively,by virtue of the superiority of intrinsic activity and reaction kinetics,such unique epitaxial heterostructure exhibits remarkable bifunctional catalytic activity toward electrocatalytic OER(226 mV@20 mA cm^(−2))and HER(32 mV@10 mA cm^(−2))in alkaline media.Furthermore,it also shows great application prospect in alkaline freshwater and seawater splitting,as well as solar-to-hydrogen integrated system.This work could provide beneficial enlightenment for the establishment of advanced electrocatalysts with epitaxial heterointerfaces. 展开更多

La_(4)NiLiO_(8)-coated NCM622 samples were prepared through a sol-gel method,and the electrochemical performance as cathode materials was investigated.It is revealed that part of the introduced La^(3+)ions produce a coating layer on the surface of NCM622 particles,while the rest occupy the 3b position of the lattice.The optimized sample exhibits a capacity retention of 96.54%after 100 cycles under 1C rate with a discharge specific capacity of 117.54 mAh·g^(-1)under 5C rate,much higher than those of the unmodified sample.The results show that the addition of La^(3+)ion can greatly improve the cyclic stability and the rate performance of NCM622. 展开更多

Catalysts consisting of Zeolite imidazolyl ester skeleton-67(ZIF-67)and graphene oxide(GO)were fabricated through a solvothermal method,followed by etching ZIF-67 with oxygen-rich functional groups on GO in a reduction atmosphere at 400℃.During this process,an open type of cobalt metal center was formed by the partial vaporization and oxidation of ZIF-67,further reducing to Co and partially combining with oxygen species to amorphous CoOx.Benefiting from the rich functional N,and metal/oxides active centers derived from the calcination process,the synthesized Co/CoOx@NSG-400 showed a low OER overpotential of 10 mA·cm^(-2) at 298 mV,and an ORR half-wave potential of 0.8 V,which demonstrated its excellent bifunctional catalytic activity.Such a controllable calcination strategy with high yields could be expected to pave the way for synthesizing low-cost and efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts. 展开更多

All of the experimentally known electronic states of the Cr group metal monoxides(Cr O,Mo O,and WO)have been presented in the paper.The optical spectra of the Cr O molecule have been investigated in the gas phase through a combination of the laser-induced fluorescence(LIF)excitation and single-vibronic-level(SVL)emission spectroscopy in the supersonic expansion.The rotational constants of the vibronic electronic states,including X^(5)Π_(-1)(v=0–3),B^(5)Π_(-1)(v=0–10),and B~5Π_1(v=1,5),and the vibrational constants of the spin–orbit components X^(5)Π_(-1,0,1)have been obtained.The molecular constants of the Mo O and WO molecules have been summarized by reviewing the previous spectroscopic studies,and a comprehensive energy level diagram of the Cr group metal monoxides has been constructed.By comparing the electronic configurations,bond lengths,and vibrational frequencies of all the transition metal monoxides in the ground electronic state,the significance of the relativistic effect in the bonding of the 5d transition metal monoxides has been discussed.The related spectroscopic data of the Cr O molecule are available at https://doi.org/10.57760/sciencedb.j00113.00085. 展开更多

The practical applications of high-capacity alloy-type anode materials in sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are challenged by their vast volume effects and resulting unstable electrode-electrolyte interphases during discharge-charge cycling.Taking red phosphorus(P)/carbon anode material as an example,we report an on-site conversion reaction to intentionally eliminate the volume effect-dominated surface P and yield an ionically conducting layer of Na3PS4solid-state electrolyte on the composite.Such a surface reconstruction can significantly suppress the electrode swelling and simultaneously enable the activation energy of interfacial Na+transfer as low as 36.7 k J mol^(-1),resulting in excellent electrode stability and ultrafast reaction kinetics.Consequently,excellent cycling performance(510 mA h g^(-1)at 5 A g^(-1)after 1000 cycles with a tiny capacity fading rate of 0.016%per cycle)and outstanding rate capability(484 mA h g^(-1)at 10 A g^(-1)are achieved in half cells.When coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3cathode,the full cells exhibit 100%capacity retention over 200 cycles at 5C with an average Coulombic efficiency of 99.93%and a high energy density of 125.5 W h kg^(-1)at a power density of 8215.6 W kg^(-1)(charge or discharge within~49 s).Remarkably,the full cell can steadily operate at a high areal capacity of 1.9 mA h cm^(-2),the highest level among red P-based full SIBs ever reported. 展开更多

We conducted a comparative study of the magnetic and transport properties of single-crystalline LaCo_(2)As_(2) and NdCo_(2)As_(2).LaCo_(2)As_(2) is a soft metallic ferromagnet which exhibits purely intrinsic anomalous Hall effect(AHE) due to Co-3d electrons. With Nd-4f electronic magnetism, ferrimagnetic NdCo_(2)As_(2) manifests pronounced sign reversal and multiple hysteresis loops in temperature-and field-dependent magnetization, Hall resistivity, and magnetoresistance, due to complicated magnetic structural changes. We reveal that the AHE for NdCo_(2)As_(2) is stemming from the Co sub-lattice and deduce its phase diagram which includes magnetic compensation and two meta-magnetic phase transitions. The sensitivity of the Hall effect on the details of the magnetic structures in ferrimagnetic NdCo_(2)As_(2) provides a unique opportunity to explore the magnetic interaction between 4f and 3d electrons and its impact on the electronic structure. 展开更多

Authentication, as the first line of defense against security threats, becomes the priority ofeveryone. It can either grant or deny users access to resources according to their legitimacy. As a result, studyingand researching authentication issues within IoT is extremely important. As a result, studying and researchingauthentication issues within IoT is extremely important. This article presents a comparative study of recent researchin IoT security;it provides an analysis of recent authentication protocols from2019 to 2023 that cover several areaswithin IoT (such as smart cities, healthcare, and industry). This survey sought to provide an IoT security researchsummary, the biggest susceptibilities, and attacks, the appropriate technologies, and the most used simulators. Itillustrates that the resistance of protocols against attacks, and their computational and communication cost arelinked directly to the cryptography technique used to build it. In the absence of input data, this method makes it possible to estimate the plant’s input power using data extracted from the site, in particular that provided by the Ministry of the Environment. The design incorporates an inductive degeneracy circuit, employing a theoretical approach to enhance gain, minimize noise levels, and uphold low power consumption. The progression includes a shift to a cascode structure to further refine LNA parameters. Ultimately, with a 1.8 V bias, the achieved performance showcases a gain-to-noise figure ratio of 16 dB/0.5 dB, an IIP3 linearity at 5.1 dBm, and a power consumption of 3 mW. This architecture is adept at operating across a wide frequency band spanning from 0.5 GHz to 6 GHz, rendering it applicable in diverse RF scenarios. 展开更多

The orthogonal test was used to optimize the reaction conditions of roasting zinc oxide ore with NaOH aiming to comprehensively utilize zinc oxide ore.The optimized reaction conditions were molar ratio of NaOH to zinc oxide ore 6:1,roasting temperature 450°C,holding time 150 min.The molar ratio of NaOH to zinc oxide ore was the most predominant factor affecting the extraction ratios of zinc oxide and silica.The mineral phase transformations were investigated by testing the phases of specimens obtained at different temperatures.The process was that silica reacted with molten NaOH to form Na_2SiO_3 at first,then transformed into Na_4SiO_4 with temperature rising.ZnCO_3 and its decomposing product ZnO reacted with NaOH to form Na_2ZnO_2.Na_2ZnSiO_4was also obtained.The reaction rate was investigated using unreacted shrinking core model.Two models used were chemical reaction at the particle surface and diffusion through the product layer.The results indicated that the reaction rate was combine-controlled by two models.The activation energy and frequency factor were obtained as 24.12 k J/mol and 0.0682,respectively. 展开更多

This paper demonstrates an all-optical switching model system comprising a single pulsed pump beam at 355 nm and a CW He-Ne signal beam at 632.8 nm with 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole (HBT) in ethanol solution. The origins of the optical switching effect were discussed. By the study of nonlinear optical properties for HBT in ethanol solvent, this paper verified that the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) effect of HBT and the thermal effect of solvent worked on quite different time scales and together induced the change of the refractive index of HBT solution, leading to the signal beam deflection. The results indicated that the HBT molecule could be an excellent candidate for high-speed and high-sensitive optical switching devices. 展开更多

Energy and environmental issues are becoming more and more severe and renewable energy storage technologies are vital to solve the problem.Rechargeable metal(Li,Na,Mg,Al)-sulfur batteries with low-cost and earth-abundant elemental sulfur as the cathode are attracting more and more interest for electrical energy storage in recent years.Lithium-sulfur(Li-S),room-temperature sodium-sulfur(RT Na-S),magnesium-sulfur(Mg-S)and aluminum-sulfur(Al-S)batteries are the most prominent candidates among them.Many obvious obstacles are hampering the developments of metal-sulfur batteries.Li-S and Na-S batteries are encumbered mainly by anode dendrite issues,polysulfides shuttle and low conductivity of cathodes.Mg-S and Al-S batteries are short of suitable electrolytes.In this review,relationships between various employed nanostructured materials and electrochemical performances of metal-sulfur batteries have been demonstrated.Moreover,the selections of suitable electrolytes,anode protection,separator modifications and prototype innovations are all crucial to the developments of metal-sulfur batteries and are discussed at the same time.Herein,we give a review on the advances of Li-S,RT Na-S,Mg-S and Al-S batteries from the point of view of materials,and then focus on perspectives of their future developments. 展开更多

Higher-precision determinations of hydrate reservoirs, hydrate saturation levels and storage estimations are important for guaranteeing the ability to continuously research, develop and utilize natural gas hydrate resources in China. With seismic stereoscopic detection technology, which fully combines the advantages of different seismic detection models, hydrate formation layers can be observed with multiangle, wide-azimuth, wide-band data with a high precision. This technique provides more reliable data for analyzing the distribution characteristics of gas hydrate reservoirs, establishing velocity models, and studying the hydrate-sensitive properties of petrophysical parameters;these data are of great significance for the exploration and development of natural gas hydrate resources. Based on a velocity model obtained from the analysis of horizontal streamer velocity data in the hydrate-bearing area of the Shenhu Sea, this paper uses three VCs(longitudinal spacing of 25 m) and four OBSs(transverse spacing of 200 m) to jointly detect seismic datasets consisting of wave points based on an inversion of traveltime imaging sections. Accordingly, by comparing the differences between the seismic phases in the original data and the forward-modeled seismic phases, multiangle coverage constraint corrections are applied to the initial velocity model, and the initial model is further optimized, thereby improving the imaging quality of the streamer data. Petrophysical elastic parameters are the physical parameters that are most directly and closely related to rock formations and reservoir physical properties. Based on the optimized velocity model, the rock elastic hydrate-sensitive parameters of the hydrate reservoirs in the study area are inverted, and the sensitivities of the petrophysical parameters to natural gas hydrates are investigated. According to an analysis of the inversion results obtained from these sensitive parameters, λρ, Vp and λμ are simultaneously controlled by the bulk modulus and shear modulus, while Vs and μρ are controlled only by the shear modulus, and the latter two parameters are less sensitive to hydrate-bearing layers. The bulk modulus is speculated to be more sensitive than the shear modulus to hydrates. In other words, estimating the specific gravity of the shear modulus among the combined parameters can affect the results from the combined elastic parameters regarding hydrate reservoirs. 展开更多

In this study, the influences of immersion bathing in different concentrations of Bacillus velezensis DY-6 on the body weight gain rate and non-specific immune enzyme activities of the coelom fluid of sea cucumber (Apostichopus japonicus) were determined in order to obtain the optimum bacterial concentration. The gut microbiota change in A. japonicus was then analyzed through high-throughput sequencing during the immersion bathing in B. velezensis DY-6 at the optimum concentration for 49 d. The results illustrate that the body weight growth rate of all bathing groups was higher than that of the control. The highest growth rate (25.3%) was achieved when the bacterial concentration was 1×10^3 CFU/mL. The activities of non-specific immune enzymes (ACP, AKP, SOD and LZM) of all bathing groups increased, and the activities of the enzymes of groups bathed with the bacterium at 1×10^3 and 1×10^4 CFU/mL reached the highest on day 21 and day 28. Taking the growth rate and economic cost into consideration, the optimum concentration of B. velezensis DY-6 was 1×10^3 CFU/mL. The influences of immersion bathing in B. velezensis DY-6 at 1×10^3 CFU/mL on the gut microbiota of A. japonicus were then evaluated through 16S rDNA sequencing analysis. Results showed that the gut microbiota changed with the addition of B. velezensis DY-6, and the richness and diversity of the gut microbiota peaked twice on day 14 and day 21, respectively. In association with the non-specific immune enzyme activities and if day 28 was selected as the dividing point, the community structure of the gut microbiota could be obviously divided into two types. The correlation analysis revealed that the non-specific immune enzyme activities were correlated significantly to some gut bacteria (in the phyla Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, and Bacteroidetes) after immersion bathing in B. velezensis DY-6. Our findings will provide the theoretical foundation for probiotic application in sea cucumber farming. 展开更多

Cross-ice acoustic information transmission is an effective means of communication in polar sea areas covered by ice.However,the channel is extremely complicated because of the combined influence of water,ice,and air.Based on the normalmode theory,this paper establishes a cascade acoustic channel(CAC)model for the transmission of underwater acoustic waves across ice layer.The model can calculate the displacement response of the ice layer’s upper surface by separating the upward waves from normal modes in the water and multiplying it by a transmission coefficient matrix.The relationship between the displacement response of the upper surface of ice layer and the acoustic frequency is calculated by the finite-element method,and the calculation result was consistent with that of the CAC model.To verify the applicability of the model,a cross-ice acoustic communication experiment was conducted in Songhua River in January 2019.Experimental results show the energy of the acoustic signals received by geophones is closely related to sound frequency and crossice acoustic communication is feasible.The result of present research is important for understanding crossice acoustic channel characteristics and developing future cross-ice acoustic communication in polar sea areas. 展开更多

Exploring low-cost and earth-abundant oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalyst is essential for fuel cells and metal–air batteries.Among them,non-metal nanocarbon with multiple advantages of low cost,abundance,high conductivity,good durability,and competitive activity has attracted intense interest in recent years.The enhanced ORR activities of the nanocarbons are normally thought to originate from heteroatom(e.g.,N,B,P,or S)doping or various induced defects.However,in practice,carbon-based materials usually contain both dopants and defects.In this regard,in terms of the co-engineering of heteroatom doping and defect inducing,we present an overview of recent advances in developing non-metal carbon-based electrocatalysts for the ORR.The characteristics,ORR performance,and the related mechanism of these functionalized nanocarbons by heteroatom doping,defect inducing,and in particular their synergistic promotion effect are emphatically analyzed and discussed.Finally,the current issues and perspectives in developing carbon-based electrocatalysts from both of heteroatom doping and defect engineering are proposed.This review will be beneficial for the rational design and manufacturing of highly efficient carbon-based materials for electrocatalysis. 展开更多
