Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes are common comorbidities or target organ damage,which can lead to adverse metabolism and increased risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.In the management plan of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes,there is no drug with significant efficacy or both.The dialectical idea of traditional Chinese medicine has a good curative effect and significant advantages in treating metabolic disorders.The author now reviewed a case of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis combined with type 2 diabetes.In this case,the method of invigorating the spleen and eliminating turbidity was effective,which effectively prevented the progression of liver disease in the patient,and T2DM was alleviated by maintaining within the standard range after the use of insulin was stopped.It can be said that“killing two birds with one stone”,more fully reflects the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the integrated treatment of metabolic-related diseases.

Clinical Experience in the Treatment of Vulvovaginal Candida Disease with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Summarizing two cases of vaginal candidiasis,cured by integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in clinical work,it is found that the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine has a significant effect on the treatment of this disease.The curative effect is outstanding,and the recurrence rate is significantly reduced,which can be used as a reference for gynecological medical workers.

Research Progress of Non-drug Therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Obese Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS)as a relatively common clinical reproductive endocrine disease,the incidence is increasing year by year and the treatment is difficult,among which obese PCOS accounts for nearly 50%of the total.In recent years,non-drug therapy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been effective in the treatment of PCOS.This article summarizes the relevant literature in the past ten years from acupuncture,acupoint embedding,moxibustion,and auricular points,and observes the effects of TCM non-drug therapy on endocrine and glucose and lipid metabolism in obese PCOS patients.The impact of various indicators such as body mass index,body mass index,etc.,and discuss the problems in such treatments,as well as put forward suggestions to achieve the purpose of better guiding the clinical treatment of obese PCOS.

Dysphagia is a common complication after stroke,which does not only affect the quality of life of patients,but also increase the risk of death.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment has always played an important role in the clinical treatment of dysphagia after stroke,but its mechanism has not been fully elucidated.Literatures on the use of TCM for the disease in the recent 5 years have been reviewed,and the problems existing in the development and treatment of the disease are discussed in this article,in an attempt to provide new ideas for the treatment of the disease.This paper presents a summary of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for the disease in the past five years,including traditional Chinese medicine compound and acupuncture.

Efficacy and safety of the decoction of nourishing marrow and raising energy in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine in patients with vascular dementia:a randomized controlled trial

OBJECTIVE: To explore the efficacy and safety of the decoction of nourishing marrow and raising energy in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in patients with vascular dementia.METHODS: Totally 86 patients with vascular dementia patients hospitalized from September 2010 to January 2015 were recruited and randomly divided into two groups: control group and observation group. Patients in control group received the conventional treatment, whereas patients in another group were treated with the therapy of nourishing marrow and raising energy according to the theory of TCM. Blesse dementia scale scores were measured before and after the treatment for both groups and adverse effect was documented as well.RESULTS: After treatment, Blesse dementia scale scores reduced in both groups, and the difference in score reduction between the two groups was significant(P<0.05). The rate of adverse events was significantly lower in observation group than in control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Our results demonstrate that the decoction of nourishing marrow and raising energy was an effective and safe alternative to vascular dementia in human subjects.

Clinical Effect of Fuming-Washing with Traditional Chinese Medicine after Anorectal Surgery

Objective:To observe the effect of fuming-washing with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)after anorectal surgery.Methods:116 cases of patients with surgical operation were selected in the anorectal department of our hospital,which is Shenzhen Bao'an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Shenzhen.According to the different postoperative adjuvant treatment methods implemented by patients,they were divided into two groups under the premise of equal number of patients.Among them,58 cases of patients with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)fuming-washing treatment were divided into study group,and patients with hip bath treatment with potassium permanganate solution were divided into common group.The efficacy of adjuvant therapy was observed.Results:The observation and analysis showed that the actual effect of TCM adjuvant therapy was more prominent,and the difference between groups was more significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of traditional Chinese medicine adjuvant therapy is more significant than that of chemical method,which can help patients achieve better postoperative recovery effect.We should popularize this treatment in time for patients after surgery,and improve the prognosis of patients.

Study on Prevention and Treatment of Autophagy and Cervical HPV Infection by Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Pathogenesis of "Syndrome of Dampness-heat Diffusing Downward"

Autophagy is a self-protection mechanism of the body,and also an important physiological process for cells to maintain internal environment stability.Studies have shown that the degree of autophagy damage is positively correlated with the expression of oncogenes,and the expression of oncogenes is closely related to cervical HPV infection,so the control of autophagy ability can interfere with cervical HPV virus infection.Traditional Chinese medicine believes that dampness-heat evil down,can damage and Chong Ren cell.The author believes that autophagy damage and the theory of dampness-heat injection in cervical HPV infection have similar pathogenic mechanism,and explores the prevention and treatment of autophagy and cervical HPV infection based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine dampness-heat injection,in attempt to provide a new treatment for clinical prevention and treatment.

Reversal of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease complicated with cirrhosis by traditional Chinese medicine:a case report and experience

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)has become the world’s most common chronic liver disease and is considered one of the main causes of occult liver cirrhosis.To date,major guidelines in China and abroad have not recommended any drugs with precise efficacy and safety for NAFLD,especially for NAFLD-related liver fibrosis or cirrhosis,which lack effective drugs.Traditional Chinese medicine has significant curative effects and advantages in preventing and treating NAFLD.We retrospectively analyzed a case of liver cirrhosis due to NAFLD that was treated solely with traditional Chinese medicine for nearly one year at the Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Advantage Specific Diseases for Fatty Liver in our hospital to provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic liver fibrosis and liver cirrhosis by traditional Chinese medicine.

Research Progress of Combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Treatment of Infertility in Older Women

The main cause of infertility in elderly women is poor ovarian function,decreased quality and number of oocytes,which ultimately leads to poor fertility.Low ovarian function is the most difficult point in the research of reproductive medicine and reproductive health.At present,the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine has gradually achieved results.Western medicine mainly regulates endocrine and assisted reproductive treatment by supplementing estrogen and progesterone,while traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)mainly focuses on invigorating the kidney,adding and subtracting according to the syndrome.The treatment effect of TCM or western medicine alone is not significant.Many clinical observations show that integrated TCM and western medicine focuses on the specialties of western medicine,which not only makes up for the insufficiency of the slow action of TCM,but also improves its clinical efficacy when combined with western medicine.Based on domestic and foreign research,this article summarizes the treatment of infertility in elderly women with integrated TCM and western medicine.

Study on the medication rule of herbs for uterine bleeding in ancient Chinese medicine

To explore the rule of medication in metrorrhagia treatment in ancient China.Based on the electronic publication“Chinese Medical Dictionary”,collect relevant literature on the treatment of metrorrhagia metrostaxis by various physicians in the Ming and Qing Dynasties(1368 C.E.–1644 C.E.),extract the effective prescriptions for the treatment of metrorrhagia metrostaxis,and evaluate the frequency of cluster statistical analysis including its effect,flavor and meridian tropism.A total of 199 prescriptions about metrorrhagia and 196 traditional Chinese medicines were included.The results shed light on how ancient Chinese doctors used herbs.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,people recognized the pathogenesis of uterine bleeding and classified it using traditional Chinese medicine theories.Different herbs are given to different patients according to their clinical characteristics.This paper explains the classification of medicines in ancient China in English.A corresponding botanical name was used for each herb.
