Porous ZnO hollow microspheres were successfully deposited on ceramic base by chemical deposition method.The phase and micro-nano structure of the obtained ZnO powers were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning e...Porous ZnO hollow microspheres were successfully deposited on ceramic base by chemical deposition method.The phase and micro-nano structure of the obtained ZnO powers were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.Photocatalytic property,Cr^(6+)adsorption performance and reuseableability of porous ZnO hollow microspheres on ceramic base were measured in detail.The results showed that the photocatalytic degradation rate of the obtained samples to rhodamine B solution could reach 96.30%after 5 h UV irradiation and its Cr^(6+)_adsorption capacity was 88.37 mg/g after 24 h.Besides,the obtained ZnO also have excellent reusability,the degradation rate for rhodamine B solution could still reach 94.49%and Cr^(6+) adsorption capacity was66 mg/g after used 3 times.The above application results further demonstrated that the obtained products are expected to find wide applications in treating tannery wastewater.展开更多
