BACKGROUND The exercise of limb function is the most economical and safe method to promote the maturation of arteriovenous fistula(AVF).However,due to the lack of a uni-fied exercise standard in China,many patients ha...BACKGROUND The exercise of limb function is the most economical and safe method to promote the maturation of arteriovenous fistula(AVF).However,due to the lack of a uni-fied exercise standard in China,many patients have insufficient awareness of the importance of AVF,leading to poor effectiveness of limb function exercise.The self-management education model can effectively promote patients to take pro-active health-related actions.This study focuses on the characteristics of patients during the peri-AVF period and conducts a phased limb function exercise under the guidance of the self-management education model to observe changes in fac-tors such as the maturity of AVF.AIM To assess the impact of stage-specific limb function exercises,directed by a self-management education model,on the maturation status of AVFs.METHODS This study is a randomized controlled trial involving 74 patients with forearm AVFs from the Nephrology Department of a tertiary hospital in Sichuan Province,China.Patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method.The observation group underwent tailored stage-specific limb func-tion exercises,informed by a self-management education model which took into account the unique features of AVF at various stages,in conjunction with routine care.Conversely,the control group was given standard limb function exercises along with routine care.The assessment involves the maturity of AVFs post-intervention,post-operative complications,and the self-management level of the fistula in both groups patients.Analyses were conducted using SPSS version 23.0.Count data were represented by frequency and percentage and subjected to chi-square test comparisons.Measurement data adhering to a normal distribution were presented as mean±SD.The independent samples t-test was utilized for inter-group comparisons,while the paired t-test was used for intra-group comparisons.For measurement data not fitting a normal distribution,the median and interquartile range were presented and analyzed using the Wilcoxon rank sum test.RESULTS At the 8-wk postoperative mark,the observation group demonstrated significantly higher scores in AVF symptom recognition,symptom prevention,and self-management compared to the control group(P<0.05).However,the variance in symptom management scores between the observation and control groups lacked statistical signi-ficance(P>0.05).At 4 wk after the operation,the observation group displayed a superior vessel diameter and depth from the skin of the drainage vessels in comparison to the control group(P<0.05).While the observation group did manifest elevated blood flow rates in the drainage vessels relative to the control group,this distinction was not statistically significant(P>0.05).By the 8-wk postoperative interval,the observation group outperformed the control group with notable enhancements in blood flow rates,vessel diameter,and depth from the skin of drainage vessels(P<0.01).Seven days following the procedure,the observation group manifested significantly diminished limb swelling and an overall reduced complication rate in contrast to the control group(P<0.05).The evaluation of infection,thrombosis,embolism,arterial aneurysm stenosis,and incision bleeding showed no notable differences between the two groups(P>0.05).By the 4-wk postoperative juncture,complications between the observation and control groups were statistically indistinguishable(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Stage-specific limb function exercises,under the guidance of a self-management education model,amplify the capacity of AVF patients to discern and prevent symptoms.Additionally,they expedite AVF maturation and miti-gate postoperative limb edema,underscoring their efficacy as a valuable method for the care and upkeep of AVF in hemodialysis patients.展开更多
The flexibility of nanoparticle films is a topic of rapidly growing interest in both scientific and engineering researches due to their numerous potential applications in a broad range of wearable electronics and biom...The flexibility of nanoparticle films is a topic of rapidly growing interest in both scientific and engineering researches due to their numerous potential applications in a broad range of wearable electronics and biomedical devices.This article presents the elucidation of the properties of nanoparticle films.Here,a flexible film is fabricated based on polyethylene terephthalate(PET)and magnetic iron oxide at the nanoscale using layer-by-layer technology.The 2D thin flexible film material can be bent at different angles from 0°to 360°.With an increase in elastic deformation angles,the magnetocaloric effect of the film gradually increases in the alternating magnetic field.The test results from a vibrating sample magnetometer and a low-frequency impedance analyzer demonstrate that the film has a good magnetic response and anisotropy.The magnetocaloric effect and magnetic induction effect are controlled by deformation,providing a new idea for the application of elastic films.It combines the flexibility of the nanoparticle PET substrate and,in the future,it may be used for skin adhesion for administration and magnetic stimulation control.展开更多

Peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)is a globally important oil crop.Web blotch is one of the most important foliar diseases affecting peanut,which results in serious yield losses worldwide.Breeding web blotch-resistant peanut...Peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)is a globally important oil crop.Web blotch is one of the most important foliar diseases affecting peanut,which results in serious yield losses worldwide.Breeding web blotch-resistant peanut varieties is the most effective and economically viable method for minimizing yield losses due to web blotch.In the current study,a bulked segregant analysis with next-generation sequencing was used to analyze an F2:3 segregating population and identify candidate loci related to web blotch resistance.Based on the fine-mapping of the candidate genomic interval using kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP)markers,we identified a novel web blotch resistance-related locus spanning approximately 169 kb on chromosome 16.This region included four annotated genes,of which only Arahy.35VVQ3 had a non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphism in the coding region between the two parents.Two markers(Chr.16.12872635 and Chr.16.12966357)linked to this gene were shown to be co-segregated with the resistance of peanut web blotch by 72 randomly selected recombinant inbred lines(RIL),which could be used in marker-assisted breeding of resistant peanut varieties.展开更多

In this study, we identi...Plant height and fertility are two important traits of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), whose mutants are ideal materials for studies on molecular mechanisms of stem and lforal organ development. In this study, we identiifed a dwarf, multi-pistil and male sterile (dms hereafter) wheat mutant from Zhoumai 18. Simple sequence repeat (SSR) marker assay with 181 primer pairs showed that only one locus of GWM148-2B was divergent between Zhoumai 18 and dms. There were three typical phenotypes in the progeny of dms, tal (T;ca. 0.8 m), semi-dwarf (M;ca. 0.6 m) and dwarf (D;under 0.3 m) plants. Morphological investigation indicated that the internode length of M was shortened by about 20–50 mm each;the internode number of D was 2 less than that of T and Zhoumai 18, and its internode length was shorter also. The pol en vigor and hybridization test demonstrated that dms mutant was male sterility. Segregated phenotypes in progeny of M suggested that the multi-pistils and sterility were control ed by one recessive gene locus which was designated as dms temporarily, and the plant height was control ed by a semi-dominant gene locus Dms. Therefore, progeny individuals of the dms had three genotypes, DmsDms for tal plants, Dmsdms for semi-dwarf plants and dmsdms for dwarf plants. The mutant progenies were individual y selected and propagated for more than 6 generations, thus a set of near isogenic lines of T, M and D for dms were developed. This study provides a set germplasms for studies on molecular mechanisms of wheat stem and spike development.展开更多

Chemodynamic therapy(CDT)is considered as a promising modality for selective cancer therapy,which is realized via Fenton reaction-mediated decomposition of endogenous H_(2)O_(2) to produce toxic hydroxyl radical(•OH)f...Chemodynamic therapy(CDT)is considered as a promising modality for selective cancer therapy,which is realized via Fenton reaction-mediated decomposition of endogenous H_(2)O_(2) to produce toxic hydroxyl radical(•OH)for tumor ablation.While extensive efforts have been made to develop CDT-based therapeutics,their in vivo efficacy is usually unsatisfactory due to poor catalytic activity limited by tumor microenvironment,such as anti-oxidative systems,insufficient H_(2)O_(2),and mild acidity.To mitigate these issues,we have witnessed a surge in the development of CDT-based combinatorial nanomedicines with complementary or synergistic mechanisms for enhanced tumor therapy.By virtue of their bio-imaging capabilities,Fenton metal nanomedicines(FMNs)are equipped with intrinsic properties of imaging-guided tumor therapies.In this critical review,we summarize recent progress of this field,focusing on FMNs for imaging-guided combinatorial tumor therapy.First,various Fenton metals with inherent catalytic performances and imaging properties,including Fe,Cu and Mn,were introduced to illustrate their possible applications for tumor theranostics.Then,CDT-based combinatorial systems were reviewed by incorporating many other treatment means,including chemotherapy,photodynamic therapy(PDT),sonodynamic therapy(SDT),photothermal therapy(PTT),starvation therapy and immunotherapy.Next,various imaging approaches based on Fenton metals were presented in detail.Finally,challenges are discussed,and future prospects are speculated in the field to pave way for future developments.展开更多
AIM: To study the characteristics of mismatch repair gene mutation of Chinese hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) and hMLH1 gene promoter methylation, and to improve the screening strategy and explore t...AIM: To study the characteristics of mismatch repair gene mutation of Chinese hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) and hMLH1 gene promoter methylation, and to improve the screening strategy and explore the pertinent test methods. METHODS: A systematic analysis of 30 probands from HNPCC families in the north of China was performed by immunohistochemistry, microsatellite instability (MSI), gene mutation and methylation detection. RESULTS: High frequency microsatellite instability occurred in 25 probands (83.3%) of HNPCC family. Loss of hMLH1 and hMSH2 protein expression accounted for 88% of all microsatellite instability. Pathogenic muta-tion occurred in 14 samples and 3 novel mutational sites were discovered. Deletion of exons 1-6, 1-7 and 8 of hMSH2 was detected in 3 samples and no large fragment deletion was found in hMLH1. Of the 30 probands, hMLH1 gene promoter methylation occurred in 3 probands. The rate of gene micromutation detection combined with large fragment deletion detection was 46.7%-56.7%. The rate of the two methods in combination with methylation detection was 63.3%. CONCLUSION: Scientific and rational detection strategy can improve the detection rate of HNPCC. Based on traditional molecular genetics and combined with epigenetics, multiple detection methods can accurately diagnose HNPCC.展开更多

In the molecular structure of 1, the Ni^Ⅱ atoms are six-coordinated by two N and two O atoms from two Schiff base ligands (LI) and two N atoms from two pyridine solvent molecules to form a distorted octahedral geometry. We investigate the incoherent beams with two orthogonal polarizations in nonlocal nonlinear media, one of which is a fundamental Gaussian beam and the other is spiraling elliptic Hermite–Gaussian beam carrying the or...We investigate the incoherent beams with two orthogonal polarizations in nonlocal nonlinear media, one of which is a fundamental Gaussian beam and the other is spiraling elliptic Hermite–Gaussian beam carrying the orbital angular momentum(OAM).Using the variational approach, we obtain the critical power and the critical OAM required for the vector spiraling elliptic Hermite–Gaussian solitons.In the strong nonlocality region, two components of the vector beam contribute to the nonlinear refractive index in a linear manner by the sum of their respective power.The nonlinear refractive index exhibits a circularly symmetrical profile in despite of the elliptic shapes for spiraling Hermite–Gaussian beams.We find that in the strong nonlocality region, the critical power and the rotational velocity are the same regardless of the relative ratio of the constituent powers.The nonlinear refractive index loses its circular symmetry in weak nonlocality region, and the nonlinear coupling effect is observed.Due to the radiation of the OAM, the damping of the rotation is predicted, and can be suppressed by decreasing the proportion of the spiraling elliptic component of the vector beam.展开更多

文摘Peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)is a globally important oil crop.Web blotch is one of the most important foliar diseases affecting peanut,which results in serious yield losses worldwide.Breeding web blotch-resistant peanut varieties is the most effective and economically viable method for minimizing yield losses due to web blotch.In the current study,a bulked segregant analysis with next-generation sequencing was used to analyze an F2:3 segregating population and identify candidate loci related to web blotch resistance.Based on the fine-mapping of the candidate genomic interval using kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP)markers,we identified a novel web blotch resistance-related locus spanning approximately 169 kb on chromosome 16.This region included four annotated genes,of which only Arahy.35VVQ3 had a non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphism in the coding region between the two parents.Two markers(Chr.16.12872635 and Chr.16.12966357)linked to this gene were shown to be co-segregated with the resistance of peanut web blotch by 72 randomly selected recombinant inbred lines(RIL),which could be used in marker-assisted breeding of resistant peanut varieties.

If the symmetry is a Noether symmetry, then the Noether conserved quantity of the Tzénoff equations can be obtained by the Mei symmetry.

文摘A new conserved quantity is deduced from Mei symmetry of Tzenoff equations for holonomic systems. The expression of this new conserved quantity is given, and the determining equation to induce this new conserved quantity is presented. The results exhibit that this new method is easier to find more conserved quantities than the previously reported ones. Finally, application of this new result is presented by a practical example.
文摘Based on the theory of Lie symmetries and conserved quantities, the exact invariants and adiabatic invariants of nonholonomic system in terms of quasi-coordinates are studied. The perturbation to symmetries for the nonholonomic system in terms of quasi-coordinates under small excitation is discussed. The concept of high-order adiabatic invariant is presented, and the forms of exact invariants and adiabatic invariants as well as the conditions for their existence are given. Then the corresponding inverse problem is studied.

Where Aand B can be decomposed A = A1+A2,B = B1+B2, A1 and B1 are mixed monotone, A2and B2 are anti-mixed monotone. The results preeented here improve and generalize somecorresponding results of mixed monotone operator equations.

文摘Plant height and fertility are two important traits of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), whose mutants are ideal materials for studies on molecular mechanisms of stem and lforal organ development. In this study, we identiifed a dwarf, multi-pistil and male sterile (dms hereafter) wheat mutant from Zhoumai 18. Simple sequence repeat (SSR) marker assay with 181 primer pairs showed that only one locus of GWM148-2B was divergent between Zhoumai 18 and dms. There were three typical phenotypes in the progeny of dms, tal (T;ca. 0.8 m), semi-dwarf (M;ca. 0.6 m) and dwarf (D;under 0.3 m) plants. Morphological investigation indicated that the internode length of M was shortened by about 20–50 mm each;the internode number of D was 2 less than that of T and Zhoumai 18, and its internode length was shorter also. The pol en vigor and hybridization test demonstrated that dms mutant was male sterility. Segregated phenotypes in progeny of M suggested that the multi-pistils and sterility were control ed by one recessive gene locus which was designated as dms temporarily, and the plant height was control ed by a semi-dominant gene locus Dms. Therefore, progeny individuals of the dms had three genotypes, DmsDms for tal plants, Dmsdms for semi-dwarf plants and dmsdms for dwarf plants. The mutant progenies were individual y selected and propagated for more than 6 generations, thus a set of near isogenic lines of T, M and D for dms were developed. This study provides a set germplasms for studies on molecular mechanisms of wheat stem and spike development.

文摘The symmetry constraint and binary nonlinearization of Lax pairs for the super classical-Boussinesq hierarchy is obtained. Under the obtained symmetry constraint, the n-th flow of the super classical-Boussinesq hierarchy is decomposed into two super finite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems, defined over the super-symmetry manifold with the corresponding dynamical variables x and tn. The integrals of motion required for Liouville integrability are explicitly given.
文摘In this article, a new stable nonconforming mixed finite element scheme is proposed for the stationary Navier-Stokes equations, in which a new low order Crouzeix- Raviart type nonconforming rectangular element is taken for approximating space for the velocity and the piecewise constant element for the pressure. The optimal order error estimates for the approximation of both the velocity and the pressure in L2-norm are established, as well as one in broken H1-norm for the velocity. Numerical experiments are given which are consistent with our theoretical analysis.

文摘Chemodynamic therapy(CDT)is considered as a promising modality for selective cancer therapy,which is realized via Fenton reaction-mediated decomposition of endogenous H_(2)O_(2) to produce toxic hydroxyl radical(•OH)for tumor ablation.While extensive efforts have been made to develop CDT-based therapeutics,their in vivo efficacy is usually unsatisfactory due to poor catalytic activity limited by tumor microenvironment,such as anti-oxidative systems,insufficient H_(2)O_(2),and mild acidity.To mitigate these issues,we have witnessed a surge in the development of CDT-based combinatorial nanomedicines with complementary or synergistic mechanisms for enhanced tumor therapy.By virtue of their bio-imaging capabilities,Fenton metal nanomedicines(FMNs)are equipped with intrinsic properties of imaging-guided tumor therapies.In this critical review,we summarize recent progress of this field,focusing on FMNs for imaging-guided combinatorial tumor therapy.First,various Fenton metals with inherent catalytic performances and imaging properties,including Fe,Cu and Mn,were introduced to illustrate their possible applications for tumor theranostics.Then,CDT-based combinatorial systems were reviewed by incorporating many other treatment means,including chemotherapy,photodynamic therapy(PDT),sonodynamic therapy(SDT),photothermal therapy(PTT),starvation therapy and immunotherapy.Next,various imaging approaches based on Fenton metals were presented in detail.Finally,challenges are discussed,and future prospects are speculated in the field to pave way for future developments.

文摘AIM: To study the characteristics of mismatch repair gene mutation of Chinese hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) and hMLH1 gene promoter methylation, and to improve the screening strategy and explore the pertinent test methods. METHODS: A systematic analysis of 30 probands from HNPCC families in the north of China was performed by immunohistochemistry, microsatellite instability (MSI), gene mutation and methylation detection. RESULTS: High frequency microsatellite instability occurred in 25 probands (83.3%) of HNPCC family. Loss of hMLH1 and hMSH2 protein expression accounted for 88% of all microsatellite instability. Pathogenic muta-tion occurred in 14 samples and 3 novel mutational sites were discovered. Deletion of exons 1-6, 1-7 and 8 of hMSH2 was detected in 3 samples and no large fragment deletion was found in hMLH1. Of the 30 probands, hMLH1 gene promoter methylation occurred in 3 probands. The rate of gene micromutation detection combined with large fragment deletion detection was 46.7%-56.7%. The rate of the two methods in combination with methylation detection was 63.3%. CONCLUSION: Scientific and rational detection strategy can improve the detection rate of HNPCC. Based on traditional molecular genetics and combined with epigenetics, multiple detection methods can accurately diagnose HNPCC.

文摘A novel Schiff base complex with π-conjugated system, [Ni(L1)2(py)2] 1 (L1 =(E)-N′-(2,4-dichlorobenzylidene)-2-oxidobenzohydraizide), was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray determination. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 12.8286(10), b = 16.3573(13), c = 19.0206(14) A, β = 108.2920(10)°, V = 3789.6(5)A^3, Z = 4, Mr = 833.17, Dc = 1.460 g/cm^3,/t = 0.843 mm^-1, F(000) = 1704, the final R = 0.0537 and wR = 0.0640 for 3836 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). In the molecular structure of 1, the Ni^Ⅱ atoms are six-coordinated by two N and two O atoms from two Schiff base ligands (LI) and two N atoms from two pyridine solvent molecules to form a distorted octahedral geometry. The cytotoxic activities of complex 1 have been experimentally studied against a human HeLa cell in vitro.

文摘We investigate the incoherent beams with two orthogonal polarizations in nonlocal nonlinear media, one of which is a fundamental Gaussian beam and the other is spiraling elliptic Hermite–Gaussian beam carrying the orbital angular momentum(OAM).Using the variational approach, we obtain the critical power and the critical OAM required for the vector spiraling elliptic Hermite–Gaussian solitons.In the strong nonlocality region, two components of the vector beam contribute to the nonlinear refractive index in a linear manner by the sum of their respective power.The nonlinear refractive index exhibits a circularly symmetrical profile in despite of the elliptic shapes for spiraling Hermite–Gaussian beams.We find that in the strong nonlocality region, the critical power and the rotational velocity are the same regardless of the relative ratio of the constituent powers.The nonlinear refractive index loses its circular symmetry in weak nonlocality region, and the nonlinear coupling effect is observed.Due to the radiation of the OAM, the damping of the rotation is predicted, and can be suppressed by decreasing the proportion of the spiraling elliptic component of the vector beam.
