In this review we do not try to cover all the aspects of physics besnd tile standard model (BSM), instead our latest understanding on tile BSM will be presented: i) Tile Higgs sector is likely related to BSM, which can be confirmed at current running large hadron collider (LHC) or tile fllture eolliders. Furthermore we pointed out that spontaneous CP violation can be closely related to the lightness of the Higgs boson, ii) Top quark forward-backward asymmetry, which was mea.sured by Tewttron, might be the sign of BSM.2; proposed a new color-octet particle Zcr to account fi)r the observation and Z can be fllrther studied at the LHC. iii) If dark matter (DM) is utilized to accommodate astrophysical obserwtions, it ought to be observed at the high energy LttC and DM produced at colliders should be tile slnoking gun signal, iv) Lithium puzzle might also be the sign of the BSM. We briefly review tile newly proposed solution to Lithium puzzle, i.e.. the existonce of non-thermal component during the big bang nuclei-synthesis (BBN). The possible origins of the non-thermal coinponent can be dark matter or the new accelerating mechanism of normal particles. 展开更多

The BICEP2 experiment confirms the existence of primordial gravitational wave with the tensor-to-scalar ratio r=0 ruled out at 7σlevel.The consistency of this large value of r with the Planck data requires a large negative running n′sof the scalar spectral index.Herein we propose two types of the single field inflation models with simple potentials to study the possibility of the consistency of the models with the BICEP2 and Planck observations.One type of model suggested herein is realized in the supergravity model building.These models fail to provide the needed n′seven though both can fit the tensor-to-scalar ratio and spectral index. 展开更多

Nuclear dynamics induced by antiprotons

Reaction dynamics in collisions of antiprotons on nuclei is investigated within the Lanzhou quantum molecular dynamics model. The reaction channels of elastic scattering, annihilation, charge exchange and inelastic collisions of antiprotons on nucleons have been included in the model. Dynamics on particle production, in particular pions, kaons, antikaons and hyperons, is investigated in collisions of p on12 C,20Ne,40 Ca and181Ta from low to high incident momenta. It is found that the annihilations of p on nucleons are of importance to the dynamics of particle production in phase space. Hyperons are mainly produced via meson induced reactions on nucleons and strangeness exchange collisions, which lead to delayed emission in antiproton-nucleus collisions. 展开更多

CP-Violation from Spin-1 Resonances in a Left-Right Dynamical Higgs Context

New physics field content in the nature, more specifically, from spin-1 resonances sourced by the extension of the SM local gauge symmetry to the larger local group SU(2)_LSU(2)_R U(1)_(B-L), may induce CP-violation signalling NP effects from higher energy regimes. In this work we completely list and study all the CP-violating operators up to the p^4-order in the Lagrangian expansion, for a non-linear left-right electroweak chiral context and coupled to a light dynamical Higgs. Heavy right handed fields can be integrated out from the physical spectrum, inducing thus a physical impact in the effective gauge couplings, fermionic electric dipole moment, and CP-violation in the decay h→ ZZ*→4 l that are briefly analysed. The final relevant set of effective operators have also been identified at low energies. 展开更多

All the possible CP-conserving non-linear operators up to the p^4-order in the Lagrangian expansion are analysed here for the left-right symmetric model in the non-linear electroweak chiral context coupled to a light dynamical Higgs. The low energy effects will be triggered by an emerging new physics field content in the nature, more specifically,from spin-1 resonances sourced by the straightforward extension of the SM local gauge symmetry to the larger local group SU(2)_L × SU(2)_R× U(1)_(B-L). Low energy phenomenology will be altered by integrating out the resonances from the physical spectrum, being manifested through induced corrections onto the left handed operators. Such modifications are weighted by powers of the scales ratio implied by the symmetries of the model and will determine the size of the effective operator basis to be used. The recently observed diboson excess around the invariant mass 1.8 TeV–2 TeV entails a scale suppression that suggests to encode the low energy effects via a much smaller set of effective operators. 展开更多
