Mechanism analysis of regulating Turing instability and Hopf bifurcation of malware propagation in mobile wireless sensor networks

A dynamical model is constructed to depict the spatial-temporal evolution of malware in mobile wireless sensor networks(MWSNs). Based on such a model, we design a hybrid control scheme combining parameter perturbation and state feedback to effectively manipulate the spatiotemporal dynamics of malware propagation. The hybrid control can not only suppress the Turing instability caused by diffusion factor but can also adjust the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation induced by time delay. Numerical simulation results show that the hybrid control strategy can efficiently manipulate the transmission dynamics to achieve our expected desired properties, thus reducing the harm of malware propagation to MWSNs. 展开更多

In this paper, we consider the problem of the evaluation of system reliability using statistical data obtained from reliability tests of its elements, in which the lifetimes of elements are described using an exponential distribution. We assume that this lifetime data may be reported imprecisely and that this lack of precision may be described using fuzzy sets. As the direct application of the fuzzy sets methodology leads in this case to very complicated and time consuming calculations, we propose simple approximations of fuzzy numbers using shadowed sets introduced by Pedrycz (1998). The proposed methodology may be simply extended to the case of general lifetime probability distributions. 展开更多

The technique uses the asymptotic analysis of boundary value problems in singularly perturbed geometrical domains. The asymptotics of solutions are derived in the framework of compound and matched asymptotics expansions. The analysis involves the so-called interior topology variations. The asymptotic expansions are derived for a model problem, however the technique applies to general elliptic boundary value problems. The self-adjoint extensions of elliptic operators and the weighted spaces with detached asymptotics are exploited for the modelling of problems with small defects in geometrical domains, The error estimates for proposed approximations of shape functionals are provided. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with a Nash equilibrium(NE)tracking issue in online games with bandit feedback,where cost functions vary with time and agents only have access to the values of these functions at two points during each round.A partial-decision information setting is considered,in which agents have only access to the decisions of their neighbors.The primary objective of this paper is to develop a distributed online NE tracking algorithm that ensures sublinear growth of regret with respect to the total round T,under both the bandit feedback and partial-decision information setting.By utilizing a two-point estimator together with the leader-following consensus method,a new distributed online NE tracking algorithm is established with the estimated gradient and local estimated decisions based on the projection gradient-descent method.Moreover,sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee an improved upper bound of dynamic regret compared to existing bandit algorithms.Finally,a simulation example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多
