Low earth orbit satellites,with unique advantages,are prosperous types of navigation augmentation satellites for the GNSS satellites constellations.The broadcast ephemeris element needs to be designed as an important index of the augmented LEOs.The GPS ephemerides of 16/18 elements cannot be directly applied to the LEOs because of the poor fitting accuracies in along-track positional component.Besides,the ill-conditioned problem of the normal-matrix exists in fitting algorithm due to the small eccentricity of the LEO orbits.Based on the nonsingular orbital elements,5 sets of ephemerides with element numbers from 16 to 19 were designed respectively by adding or modifying orbital elements magnifying the along-track and radial positional components.The fitting experiments based on the LEO of 300 to 1500 km altitudes show that the fitting UREs of the proposed 16/17/18/18*/19-element ephemerides are better than 10/6/4/5/2.5 cm,respectively.According to the dynamical range of the fitting elements,the interfaces were designed for the 5 sets of ephemerides.The effects of data truncation on fitting UREs are at millimeter level.The total bits are 329/343/376/379/396,respectively.29/15 bits are saved for the 16/17-element ephemerides compared with the GPS16 ephemeris,while 64/61/41 bits can be saved for the 18/18*/19-element ephemerides compared with the GPS18 elements ephemeris. 展开更多

In order to study features of rock–water interaction, a self-developed experimental system called Intelligent Testing System for Water Absorption in Deep Soft Rocks(ITSWADSR) was utilized to analyze the hydrophilic behaviors of natural soft rock at high stress state. Combining X-ray diffraction and mercury injection test, main influencing factors on hydrophilic characteristics were studied. According to the results, it could be concluded as the following:(1) the effective porosity, and the content of illite, illite/smectite formation(S = 5%) and kaolinite have positive correlation with the water absorption capacity of rock; meanwhile, the initial moisture content, fractal dimension of effective pores, illite/smectite formation(S = 30%) and chlorite present negative correlation;(2) among the positive factors, the ascending order is kaolinite, illite/smectite formation(S = 5%) and illite;(3) the descending order among the negative factors are chlorite, illite/smectite formation(S = 30%) and fractal dimension of the effective pores;(4) influence of effective porosity on the pressurized water absorbing capacity of rock is minimal, while it is maximal in the process of no pressurized water absorption. 展开更多

Synchronization for multiple-pulse at nanosecond range shows a great value on the power multiplication and synchronous electric fieldsapplications. Nanosecond or sub-ns jitter synchronization is essential for the improved working efficiency of the large amounts of pulse modulesand accurate requirements for the power coherent combining applications. This paper presents a trigger generator based on a laser diodetriggered GaAs photoconductive semiconductor switch (PCSS) with low jitter and compact size characteristics. It avoids the high currentsthat are harmful to high-gain mode PCSSs. In the trigger circuit, a 200 pF capacitor is charged by a microsecond-scale 18 kV pulse and thendischarged via the high-gain mode GaAs PCSS to trigger the high-power trigatron switch. When triggered by the ~10 ns pulse generated by thePCSS, the DC-charged trigatron can operate in the 20e35 kV range with 10 ns rise time and 1 ns delay-time jitter. 展开更多

Existing multi-channel Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols have been demonstrated to significantly increase wireless network performance compared to single channel MAC protocols. Traditionally, the channelization structure in IEEE 802.11 based wireless networks is pre-configured, and the entire available spectrum is divided into subchannels and equal channel widths. In contrast, this paper presents a Traffic-Aware Channelization MAC (TAC-MAC) protocol for wireless ad hoc networks, where each node is equipped with a single half duplex transceiver. TAC-MAC works in a distributed, fine-grai-ned manner, which dynamically divides variable-width subchannels and allocates subchannel width based on the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique according to the traffic demands of nodes. Simulations show that the TAC-MAC can significantly improve network throughput and reduce packet delay compared with both fixed-width multi-channel MAC and single channel 802.11 protocols, which illustrates a new paradigm for high-efficient multi-channel MAC design in wireless ad hoc networks. 展开更多

A mode of ontology-based information integration and management( OIIM) for testability scheme was proposed through expatiating on the connotation of the system testability scheme.Aiming at the complexity of influencing factors in optimal design procedure of the testability scheme, the information of concept entities,concept attributions and concept relationships was analyzed and extracted,and then the testability scheme information ontology( TSIO) was built and coded via web ontology language( OWL).Based on the information ontology, the generalized model for testability scheme( GMTS) was founded by defining transformation rules. The primary study shows that the mode of OIIM for testability scheme can make up the deficiencies in knowledge representation and reasoning existing in traditional information models,and achieve the information share and reuse. It provides the effectual model basis for the optimal design of the testability scheme. 展开更多

Nonlinear dynamic model and control of three-axis stabilized liquid-filled spacecraft attitude system

The fuel slosh in the storage tanks affects the attitude dynamics of the liquid-filled spacecraft during orbit transferring. To describe the interactions between the fuel slosh dynamics and the spacecraft attitude dynamics, a novel nonlinear dynamic model for three-axis liquid-filled spacecraft is presented, and in this paper, the multi-body dynamics method is utilized. In this model, the fuel slosh is represented by the motions of an equivalent sphere pendulum, and the fuel slosh is underactuated. The proposed dynamics model meets the demand of attitude controller design of liquid-filled spacecraft. Then, a nonlinear proportional-plus-derivative (PD) type controller is designed for the proposed model based on the Lyapunov direct approach. This controller can suppress the fuel slosh and stabilize the attitude of the liquid-filled spacecraft. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear dynamic model and the designed underactuated controller when compared with the conventional control scheme. 展开更多

This paper studies the key techniques of the measurement and communication system for inter-satellite links(ISLs) of global navigation satellite system.A fixed link topology is designed based on the analysis of inter-satellite geometric properties and spatial parameters of the standard Walker24/3/2 constellation.This design can achieve full network coverage with small num-ber of hops,significantly reduce the number of ISLs,and enhance the feasibility and reliability of the system.A new time-division duplex mode,as well as an integrated measurement and communication scheme,is proposed based on the de-signed topology.Furthermore,mathematical formulas,error models,and modification methods regarding two-way ranging and time synchronization algorithms using spread spectrum non-coherent data frame for this new system are comprehensively dis-cussed.Theoretical analysis and simulation studies demonstrate that our design,compared with current GPS systems,has higher ranging and time synchronization precision,improved measurement efficiency,and higher channel utilization ratio and data transmission rate.It has no restrictions of constellation configuration,making it suitable for both MEO and the future MEO/GEO hybrid constellations.The results in this paper can serve as strong technical support for the next generation of GNSS ISL. 展开更多

During spacecraft re-entry,the challenge of measuring plasma sheath parameters directly contributes to difficulties in addressing communication blackout.In this work,we have discovered a phenomenon of multiple peaks in reflection data caused by the inhomogeneous plasma.Simulation results show that the multi-peak points fade away as the characteristic frequency is approached,resembling a series of gradually decreasing peaks.The positions and quantities of these points are positively correlated with electron density,yet they show no relation to collision frequency.This phenomenon is of significant reference value for future studies on the spatial distribution of plasmas,particularly for using microwave reflection signals in diagnosing the plasma sheath. 展开更多

A novel method for boundary constrained tetrahedral mesh generation is proposed based on Advancing Front Technique(AFT)and conforming Delaunay triangulation.Given a triangulated surface mesh,AFT is firstly applied to mesh several layers of elements adjacent to the boundary.The rest of the domain is then meshed by the conforming Delaunay triangulation.The non-conformal interface between two parts of meshes are adjusted.Mesh refinement and mesh optimization are then preformed to obtain a more reasonable-sized mesh with better quality.Robustness and quality of the proposed method is shown.Convergence proof of each stage as well as the whole algorithm is provided.Various numerical examples are included as well as the quality of the meshes. 展开更多
