Decomposition of lead sulfide concentrates in nitric acidic solutions after ferric(Ⅲ)nitrate addition and mechanical preparation has been investigated.It was found out that the decomposition can be achieved in HNO_(3) solution(>1.5 mol·L^(-1))at the temperature above 85℃.The leaching rate of lead can be increased by means of mechanochemical activation.The use of[Fe(NO_(3))_(3)-HNO_(3)-H_(2)O]aqueous salt system allows the decomposition of lead sulfide concentrate at room temperature and in this case the concentration of HNO_(3) does not exceed 0.05-0.1 mol.L^(-1),The degree of lead recovery into solution from PbS concentrate reaches 99.3%-99.6c70 with the mechanochemical activation of this concentrate.The insoluble residues after the leaching contain SiO_(2),S^(0),FeCO_(3) and PbSO_(4). 展开更多

The abiotic association between phthalic acid esters (PAEs) and humic substances (HS) in sludge landfill plays an important role in the fate and stability of PAEs. An equilibrium dialysis combined with 14C-labeling was used to study the abiotic association of two abundant PAEs (diethyl phthalate and di-n-butyl phthalate) with humic acid (HA) isolated from a sludge landfill with different stabilization times and different molecular weights. Ele- mental analysis and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectro- photometer (FTIR) suggested that high KA value of HA was related to the high aromatic content and large molecular weight of HA. The results indicated that the association strength of PAEs with HA depended on both the properties of the PAEs and the characteristics of HA. The KA values of the association were strongly dependent on solution pH, and decreased dramatically as the pH was increased from 3.0 to 9.0. The results suggested that non- specific hydrophobic interaction between PAEs and HA was the main contributor to the association of the PAEs with HA. The interactive hydrogen-bonds between the HA and the PAEs molecules may also be involved in the association. 展开更多

A method for the fabrication of an improved class of controllable fluorescence intensity, highly sensitive and photostable porphyrin doped silica nanoparticles (PDSNPs) was demonstrated. The fluorescence intensity of PDSNPs could be controlled by finely tuning self-dissociated time of the precursor of porphyrin-bridged silsesquioxane. Porphyrin was well dispersed into the silica matrix due to the covalent attachment in the system, thus entirely avoiding the porphyrin leakage and fluorescence quenching effects. The resultant PDSNPs with a narrow size-distributed region and a regular spherical structure can be attained. 展开更多

To investigate the convective heat transfer of nanofluids, experiments were performed using silver-water nanofluids under laminar, transition and turbulent flow regimes in a horizontal 4.3 mm inner-diameter tube-in-tube counter-current heat transfer test section. The volume concentration of the nanoparticles varied from 0.3% to 0.9% in steps of 0.3%, and the effects of thermo-physical properties, inlet temperature, volume concentration, and mass flow rate on heat transfer coefficient were investigated. Experiments showed that the suspended nanoparticles remarkably increased the convective heat transfer coefficient, by as much as 28.7% and 69.3% for 0.3% and 0.9% of silver content, respectively. Based on the experimental results a correlation was developed to predict the Nusselt number of the silver-water nanofluid, with +10% agreement between experiments and prediction. 展开更多
