The 3D structure of the protein was obtained from PDB database. Docking analysis of the compounds was performed using hex docking. Molecular modeling analysis exhibits relatively low LUMO-HOMO energy gap of the studied molecules, indicating that it would be kinetically stable. None of the compounds violated Lipinski’s parameters, making them potentially promising agents for biological activities. The title compounds exhibited the lowest docking energy of protein-ligand complex. Finally, the results indicate that these compounds are potentially as an androgen antagonist, and expected to be effective in prostate cancer treatment.展开更多

Cold atmospheric plasma jet with nitrogen gas sources was employed in this study. Five treatment doses and one control were used to conduct germination parameters. The effects of the different duration time of cold atmospheric plasma on the germination of treated watermelon seeds were studied. The cold plasma operated at 3 Kv and 14 l/min as a fixed input voltage and a fixed flow rate respectively. Cold atmospheric plasma increased the germination percentage of watermelon as well as the growth parameters (root and shoot length, dry weight), and the vigor of seedlings. The effects of cold plasma during this study depended on exposure time. The operation time of 4 min considered as an appropriate plasma dose to promote the germination parameters.展开更多

During this work, experimental study of a low frequency, atmospheric plasma-jet discharge in nitrogen has been presented. The experimental operation of this device was conducted with commercially neon power supply. The discharge process operated by using nitrogen as input gas with different flow rates. The experimental results showed that the maximum plasma jet length of 7 mm was detected at 3 Kv input voltage corresponding to 14 l/min as a nitrogen flow rate. The effect of distance from nozzle, nitrogen flow rate and input voltage on the plasma temperature was examined. The gas temperature decreased continuously as the flow rate of nitrogen increasing from 2 l/min to 14 l/min at 3 Kv as a fixed input voltage.展开更多
