Rheological and mechanical properties of the prepared blends were determined. Rheological properties were studied using a capillary rheometer, shear rate, shear stress, non-Newtonian index, shear viscosity and flow activation energy were determined. Mechanical properties were studied in term of tensile properties, stress at break, strain at break, and Young’s modulus were determined. The effect of the composition on the rheological and mechanical properties was investigated. The results show that the ternary blend exhibits shear-thinning behavior over the range of the studied shear rates where the true shear viscosity of the blend decreases with increasing true shear rate, also it was found that the true viscosity of the blend decreases with increasing ABS content. The mechanical results showed that, in the most cases, the stress at break and the Young’s modulus improved by the addition of ABS.展开更多

The sedimentological analysis has proved a Miocene age of the sediments with varied environments: marine, fluvial-deltaic and lake. The geological aspect of the sediment, in particular sandy, is of the movable type or very slightly consolidated. The size of the industrial sand layers can be very diverse, however to feed from the industrial consumers having a certain perenniality, our prospection was directed towards layers with very important reserves. It is about a sedimentary basin with dimensions exceeding very largely the conditions of operating for such projects, which are at least one to two million tons. With the exception of a thin quaternary soil horizon, the basin is almost of an exploitation with open sky. The mineralogical determination has revealed siliceous to extra-siliceous sands, which are absolutely usable in the industry of glass, foundry and also in other functions like the abrasives of sanding and the clothing industry of the sandpapers. Concerning the economic aspect, the materials are very close and this is why the area has known the installation of a glassmaking factory and a cement factory using at the same time the Maastrichtian limestone, the sandy material and the clays of the Western zone of the basin.展开更多

Base isolation and seismic dampers can be employed to minimize inter-story drifts and floor accelerations via specially designed isolation and dampers system at the structural base, or at higher levels of the superstructure. In this research, we’ll examine the response of buildings isolated using isolation system hybrid consisting of Lead-Rubber Bearings (LRB), Flat Sliding Bearings (FSB), with the addition of Rotation Fiction Damper (FD) at the base, then compare the results with buildings that have traditional foundation, in terms of the (period, displacement and distribution shear force and height of the building). It conducts TIME HISTORY seismic analysis for some varying height buildings (eight, twelve, sixteen, and twenty stories), with help of SAP2000 using an earthquake acceleration-time history for (El- Centro). The results show that the use of insulation system Hybrid has had a significant impact on improving the performance of origin in terms of reducing displacements and base shear with in-creasing height of the building, but has had a negative impact on the drift, which leads to an in-crease in drift with the increased flexibility of the building.展开更多

The method incorporated a glutamate oxidase and peroxidase. The librated H 2 O 2 from a glutamate sample as a result of enzymatic action was measured using 4-aminoantipyrine and phenol as a chromogenic reagent at 502 nm. Glutamate calibration curve was linear up to 125 mmol L-1 with a detection limit of 2 mmol L-1. The results of analyzing L-glutamate in various food samples using the approach were compared to those of a standard procedure employing HPLC method. MSG concentration in different samples ranged from 0.93 to 4.9 g/kg. This method is relatively sensitive and specifi c, without the need of pre-treatment for sample. Fig 5, Tab 1, Ref展开更多
