Practical Research on Green Complex with Industrial Heritage as the Core

In the context of ecological civilization construction in the new era,the development of highquality cities places more emphasis on resource integration and multi-party coordination.The exploration of the concept of green complex has proposed a new path for urban double repair and urban renewal.The green complex centered on industrial heritage has achieved the combination of industrial heritage activation and utilization with natural ecosystem restoration,which is of great significance for sustainable and healthy urban development.Based on the landscape design of the main exhibition area of the 11th Jiangsu Garden Expo,the application of green complex in industrial heritage protection is explored.By integrating industrial heritage relics,green activity spaces,urban public resources,and natural environment in the form of green complex,it promotes the coordinated development of various functions and creates a new type of green inclusive city.

Thermal Comfort Measurement and Landscape Reconstruction Strategy of Street Space Based on Decomposition Grid Method:A Case Study of Yangmeizhu Street

As an important public space in the city,street space is the second residence of people.Taking Yangmeizhu Street as the research object,this study established a street microclimate model in Beijing through microclimate measurement and simulation,and then calculated thermal comfort index of the street and evaluated thermal comfort of the street space and distribution model.The evaluation method used grid method to decompose and study and made several 10m×10m grids for inner space of the street,so as to compare deeply difference of microclimate environment in the street and analyze quantitatively relevance between street space elements(street pavement,street greening,building shadow coverage)and thermal comfort(physiological equivalent temperature PET)in the data.Finally,adaptive strategy of microclimate on street level was put forward to improve the environmental quality of public space in the old city by means of landscape design,aiming at creating a resilient and humanized street space and improving adaptability of microclimate and thermal comfort for living.

Actual Measurement of the Microclimate Environment of Green Spaces and Dynamic Simulation of Building Height in Xijing Community of Beijing

In this paper, three types of green spaces in Xijing Community in Shijingshan District of Beijing were selected for as the measuring points, the HOBO portable weather station was used to monitor the microclimate environmental changes in the same period and summarize the data of microclimate factors. The effectiveness of the simulation was verified by comparing the measured data with the simulated data obtained through ENVI-met. And strategies for microclimate adaptive design in residential areas were proposed according to the microclimate environmental characteristics of several green spaces.

Research on Low-carbon Transportation-oriented Urban Planning and Design Strategy: A Case Study of The Netherlands

In the era of urban stock development,advocatinglow-carbontravelandreducing transportation carbon emissions will help promote the realization of the “dual carbon” goal. Based on the urban planning and design concept of “small block, dense road network”, the paper analyzes the cases of low-carbon transportation-oriented road network planning and construction in the Netherlands,and summarizes the design concept and implementation method of road network planning of public transportation and slow traffic friendly blocks. The successful experiences of low-carbon transportationoriented city construction in the Netherlands are summarized, in order to provide the reference for lowcarbon urban development in China.

Survey Report on Urban Biodiversity: A Case Study of Riverside Greenway in the Administrative Office Area of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center

The rapid development of cities has changed and destroyed the original ecological habitats of animals and plants and caused a series of environmental issues,and people have gradually realized the importance of the stability of urban ecosystem.The 15^(th) Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity on 18 July 2021 called for greater awareness of biodiversity conservation,especially in cities.In this study,the biodiversity of riverside greenway in the administrative office area of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center was investigated by field observation and data statistical analysis.The information and status quo of typical plants and animals was surveyed from June 28 to July 23,2021,to study and analyze the construction of urban greenway habitat,food chain,food web and ecological chain.This study can provide basic data for biodiversity conservation of urban greenway,and provide various ways to judge the ecological environment status of the site from the perspective of habitat construction.

Design Method and Classic Case Analysis of Low Carbon Community

Realizing “carbon peaking” and “carbon neutrality” is a major strategic decision made by China to coordinate domestic and international situations.In order to achieve the “double carbon” goal,it is also necessary for relevant practitioners to actively put into practice to improve the participation of residents and advocate low carbon life while formulating the policy action plan.Community is an important place for human activities and one of the main spatial types of carbon emissions in cities.Doing a good job in planning energy conservation and emission reduction in the community plays an important role in achieving the “double carbon” goal.Through the analysis of classic low carbon community practice cases at home and abroad,6 planning and design methods for low carbon community are concluded,and the development status of low carbon community in China is reflected and summarized.

Overall Planning and Design of “Multi-channel Integration” under the Concept of Urban Park Complex: A Case Study of Jinghe Landscape Construction in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center

Under the guidance of the concept of urban park complex, Jinghe landscape construction of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center realizes the maximum utilization of landscape resources with the overall planning and design mode of “multi-channel integration”, and builds a green and sustainable urban environment of ecological harmony. The multi-channel integration planning mode achieves efficient sharing in resource utilization, and creates an innovative demonstration landscape of overall planning and coordination combined with intelligent technology means. In the process of landscape construction, the complex site environmental problems are solved by landscape overall planning and cooperation, so as to achieve the construction of green and sustainable urban environment with harmony between human beings and nature.

Environment Promotion and Microclimate Improvement of Old Communities with Combination of Peacetime and Epidemic Situation: A Case Study of Fuguoli Community in Beijing

As the basic unit of a city,community is an important carrier of residents’ healthy life.With the development of society,the environmental status of old communities has been unable to meet the needs of residents’ healthy life,and it is urgent to optimize the community environment.The emergence of novel coronavirus also put forward more strict requirements for the grassroots governance of old communities in China.Taking Fuguoli community in Beijing City as an example,the problems existing in the external environment of old communities were excavated from the perspective of functional requirements,and the distributed green space layout pattern and the dynamic simulation of community microclimate environment was constructed through the method of field survey and numerical simulation.Furthermore,the environmental optimization strategies of old communities with combination of peacetime and epidemic situation were put forward to help the epidemic prevention and control.

Spatial Optimization Strategies for High Temperature Heat Exposure Based on Thermally Vulnerable Populations and Case Studies

The objective of this study is to investigate the factors that contribute to brittleness and to identify strategies for mitigating these factors in populations with varying degrees of thermal vulnerability,based on the potential impact of extreme heat exposure on human survival and habitability.The physiological condition of lower adaptability to high temperature environments and the assessment of individuals who may have higher tolerance time in high temperature environments based on spatial perspectives suggest the need for targeted spatial optimization strategies for commuters and disadvantaged populations.This is demonstrated through a case study.These optimization measures encompass a variety of aspects,including the integration of transportation systems,the expansion of grey space corridors,the improvement of green space layout,and the implantation of green infrastructure.The study aims to reduce the exposure time of thermally vulnerable individuals to high temperature environments through spatial optimization strategies,to enhance the resilience of urban green spaces to heat stress,and to reduce the probability of heat-wave occurrence.
