Microstructure and wear resistance of Fe-Cr-Ti-C reactive plasma cladding coating

Fe-Cr-Ti-C composite powder was synthesized by precursor carbonization-composition process using the mixture of ferrotitanium, chromium, iron powder and precursor sucrose as raw material. And then the Fe-Cr-Ti-C coating was prepared by reactive plasma cladding method. Microstructure of the samples was observed by scanning electron microscope （SEM）, the phases were determined by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, and the wear resistance was evaluated under dry sliding wear test conditions at room temperature. Results indicate that the composite coating consists of primary austenite and dendritic eutectic austenite, chrysanthemum-shaped eutectic （Cr, Fe ） 7 C3 and TiC carbide. TiC presents the gradient distribution and different shapes in the coating, corresponding to equiaxial structure both in fusion zone and central zone, while it presents dendritic structure on the surface, respectively. The wear mass loss is insensitive to load for the coating while it increases rapidly for Q235 steel base metal in this test. The wear mass loss ofQ235 steel is 14 times as that of the composite coating under applied load of 40 kg.

Comparison of the photo-acclimation potential of fl oating and benthic thalli of Sargassum horneri(Phaeophyta)during autumn and winter

Sargassum horneri is a foundational species and an important contributor to the fl oating seaweed stock along the northeastern coast of Asia.In this study,benthic and fl oating thalli of S.horneri were collected from Changdao Island(37°54′N,120°43′E),Bohai Bay,China.We conducted an in-situ and an indoor experiment to study the acclimation potential in S.horneri to abiotic conditions at sea surface in autumn and winter.Both benthic and fl oating thalli were cultured in situ for two months(from October to December)at diff erent depths:0 m above sea level(masl)and 3 m below sea level(mbsl),and their growth rate,biochemical content,and photosynthetic performance were compared.During the fi rst month of culture,the relative growth rate of fl oating thalli was 2-fold greater than that of benthic thalli at 0 masl.The photosynthetic rate of most thalli was signifi cantly higher at 0 masl than at 3 mbsl.In the indoor experiments,fl oating and benthic thalli were exposed to high light intensity(400μmol photons/(m^(2)·s)photosynthetically active radiation(PAR))for 21 d,and their photo-acclimation capacities were compared.Under high light intensity,the two types of thalli showed low maximum quantum yield(F_(v)/F_(m))and light utilisation effi ciency(α)but high light saturation point(E_(k)).Floating thalli showed higher photosynthetic rate and photoprotective ability than benthic thalli at high light intensity.The eff ective quantum yield of photosystem II[Y(II)]of both types of thalli recovered after a 6-day treatment with low light intensity(40μmol photons/(m^(2)·s)).These fi ndings suggest that S.horneri is highly acclimated to the sea surface environment,which possibly contributes to its rapid accumulation and long free-fl oating periods at the sea surface.

Syntheses and Characterizations of Two New Coordination Polymers Based on Dicarboxylate and Nitrogen-contained Mixed Ligands

Two new carboxylate coordination polymers [Ni（2,3＇-oba）（bib）]n] and [Mn（2,4＇-oba）（bib）0.5]n（2,3＇-oba = 2-（3-carboxyphenoxy）benzoic acid,2,4＇-oba = 2-（4-carboxyphenoxy） ben-zoic acid and bib = 1,4-bis（2-methyl-imidazol-yl）butane） have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction studies.Compound 1 crystallizes in monoclinic,space group P21/c,while compound 2 in the triclinic space group P.Compound 1 displays a one-dimensional ladder-like chain.The dinuclear paddle-wheel secondary building units（SBUs） constructed by four 2,4＇-oba2-ligands in compound 2 are linked by bib into a 2D（4,4） layer structure.

On the Planning of Chinese Marine High-tech Industry Demonstration Zones:From the Perspective of Supply-side Structural Reform

China’s national agricultural high-tech industry demonstration zones focus on supply-side structural reform in their overall plan of development.This paper selected the China’s marine industry as its research subject and analyzes its current situation and major problems.After summarizing the current researches of China’s marine industry parks,from the perspective of supply-side structural reform,this paper specifies the tasks and objectives of the construction of the marine hi-tech industry demonstration zones.The overall planning of the demonstration zones must set distinctive developmen as its orientation,and we should emphasize innovation-driven and green development,devise a functional zoning that embraces marine-land and allround integration,and seek mechanism innovations that could invigorate the inner drive of development.The paper also puts forward the major principles that the planning of marine hi-tech industry demonstration zones should obey in the context of supply-side structural reform.

Copper（Ⅱ） Acetylacetonate： An Efficient Catalyst for Huisgen- Click Reaction for Synthesis of 1,2,3-Triazoles in Water

An efficient and green copper（Ⅱ） acetylacetonate-catalyzed protocol for the Huisgen-click reaction in water at 100℃ has been established. The protocol was not only suitable for the reaction between organic azides and alkynes, but also suitable for one-pot three-component reaction among alkyl halides, NaN3 and alkynes.
