Therapy for acute pancreatitis with platelet-activating factor receptor antagonists

Acute pancreatitis (AP) causes release of platelet- activating factor (PAF), which induces systemic effects that contribute to circulatory disturbances and multiple organ failure. PAF is a cell surface secretion of bioactive lipid, which could produce physiological and pathological effects by binding to its cell surface receptor called platelet-activating factor receptor (PAF-R). Studies showed that PAF participates in the occurrence and development of AP and administration of platelet-activating factor receptor antagonists (PAF-RAs) could significantly reduce local and systemic events after AP. PAF has also been implicated as a key mediator in the progression of severe AP, which can lead to complications and unacceptably high mortality rates. Several classes of PAF-RA show PAF- RAs significant local and systemic effects on reducing inflammatory changes. As a preventive treatment, PAF-RA could block a series of PAF-mediated inflammatory injury and thus improve the prognosis of AP. This review introduces the important role of PAF-RA in the treatment of AP.

RANS Simulation for the Maneuvering and Control of a Suboff Submarine Model

Submarine maneuverability has been analyzed by means of computational fluid dynamics(CFD).This approach provides an alternative,accurate,and cost-effective method for simulating actual flow.The numerical results show that the numerical simulation of the viscous flow related to a moving submarine based on the RANS equation with a relevant turbulence model can not only provide rich flow field details such as flow separation,but also accurately predict its hydrodynamic performance.The present study indicates that CFD can be used to forecast the submarine’s maneuverability in the initial design stage.The present results will be used in the future as a basis for analyzing methods to reduce the vibration and noise generated by the submarine.

Summary: ISO9000 quality management system (ISO9000QMS) emphasize on the customer-oriented, managers' leadership and all staff's joining, adopt the process method and system management, spread the taking facts as a basis to make decision and improve consistently, and establish win-win relation with the suppliers. So, the digital hospital can adopt the ISO9000QMS. In order to establish the ISO9000QMS, the digital hospital should: (1) Design integrally, including analyzing the operation procedure, clarifying the job duties, setting up the spreading team and setting the quality policy and objectives: (2) Learning the ISO9000 quality standards; (3) Drawing up the documents, including the quality manual, program files and operation guiding files; (4) Training according the documents; (5) Executing the quality standard, including the service quality auditing, quality record auditing and quality system auditing; (6) Improving continually. With the establishment of ISO900QMS, the digital hospital can appraise more accurately, analyze quality matters statistically and avoid the interference of artificial factors.

MAXIMIN EFFICIENCY ROBUST TEST FOR MULTIPLE NUISANCE PARAMETERS AND ITS STATISTICAL PROPERTIES

We propose the maximin efficiency robust test（MERT） for multiple nuisance parameters based on theories about the maximin efficiency robust test for only one nuisance parameter and investigate some theoretical properties about this robust test.We explore some theoretical properties about the power of the MERT for multiple nuisance parameters in a specified scenario intuitively further more.We also propose a meaningful example from statistical genetic field to which the MERT for multiple nuisance parameters can be well applied.Extensive simulation studies are conducted to testify the robustness of the MERT for multiple nuisance parameters.

A chromosome-scale genome assembly of Isatis indigotica,an important medicinal plant used in traditional Chinese medicine

Isatis indigotica(2n=14)is an important medicinal plant in China.Its dried leaves and roots(called Isatidis Folium and Isatidis Radix,respectively)are broadly used in traditional Chinese medicine for curing diseases caused by bacteria and viruses such as influenza and viral pneumonia.Various classes of compounds isolated from this species have been identified as effective ingredients.Previous studies based on transcriptomes revealed only a few candidate genes for the biosynthesis of these active compounds in this medicinal plant.Here,we report a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of I.indigotica with a total size of 293.88 Mb and scaffold N50=36.16 Mb using single-molecule real-time long reads and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture techniques.We annotated 30,323 highconfidence protein-coding genes.Based on homolog searching and functional annotations,we identified many candidate genes involved in the biosynthesis of main active components such as indoles,terpenoids,and phenylpropanoids.In addition,we found that some key enzyme-coding gene families related to the biosynthesis of these components were expanded due to tandem duplications,which likely drove the production of these major active compounds and explained why I.indigotica has excellent antibacterial and antiviral activities.Our results highlighted the importance of genome sequencing in identifying candidate genes for metabolite synthesis in medicinal plants.

Study on l uidity of squeeze cast AZ91D magnesium alloy with dif erent wall thicknesses

Rectangular cross-section specimens with different section thicknesses were prepared to study the infl uences of pouring temperature, mould temperature and squeeze velocity on the fl uidity of squeeze cast AZ91D magnesium alloy by means of orthogonal test design method. The results show that pouring temperature, mould temperature and squeeze velocity can significantly affect the fluidity of magnesium alloy specimens with wall thickness no more than 4 mm, and the pouring temperature is the most infl uential factor on the fl uidity of specimens with wall thickness of 1, 2 and 3 mm, while mould temperature is the one for specimens with wall thickness of 4 mm. Increasing pouring temperature between 700 °C and 750 °C is benefi cial to the fl uidity of AZ91D magnesium alloy, and increasing mould temperature signifi cantly enhances the fi lling ability of thick(3 and 4 mm) section castings. The fl uidity of squeeze cast magnesium alloy increases with the increase of wall thickness. It is not recommended to produce magnesium alloy casting with wall thickness of smaller than 3 mm by squeeze cast process due to the poor fl uidity. The software DPS was used to generate the regression model, and linear regression equations of the fl uidity of squeeze cast AZ91D with different wall thicknesses are obtained using the test results.

Nanocomposite Membranes based on Perfl uorosulfonic Acid/Ceramic for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

Perfl uorosulfonic acid/ceramic nanocomposite membranes were investigated as electrolytes for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell applications under low relative humidity. Different nanosized ceramics（SiO2, ZrO2, TiO2） with diameters in the range of 2-6 nm were synthesized in situ in Nafion solution through a sol-gel process and the formed nanosized ceramics were well-dispersed in the solution.The nanocomposite membranes were formed through a casting process. The nanocomposite membrane showes enhanced water retention ability and improved proton conductivity compared to those of pure Nafi on membrane. The mechanical strength of the formed nanocomposite membranes is slightly less than that of pure Nafi on membrane. The experimental results demonstrate that the polymer ceramic nanocompsite membranes are potential electrolyte for fuel cells operating at elevated temperature.

Application of Fluid Inclusions in Tectonic Geology

The release of thermal fluids is expected during tectonic movement. These thermal fluids may be trappedby minerals (newly formed or recrystallized)to form fluid inclusions. The aim of this paper is to discuss thetectonic relations between the North China Platform and the Qinling Geosyncline based mainly on the fluidinclusion data. Some preliminary conclusions have been drawn as follows:1. Recognized between the platform and tbe geosyncline are several tectonic belts, each of whch hasdifferent characteristics with respect to fluid inclusions.2. Various tectonic beits are bounded by the fault, on both sides of which fluid inclusions found areconsiderably different.3. Research on fluid inclusions provides further information on the history of tectonic evolution of theNorth China Platform and the Qinling Geosyncline.This work is an initial attempt to the study of tectonic geology in terms of fluid inclusion data.

The Electrical and Mechanical Alignment and Accuracy Detection of Numerial Control Machine Tool

In the work of numerical control reformation of general machine tool, the installation and debugging of machine tool is a crucial part. For the C6132 machine tool, and make the use of electrical and mechanical alignment, parameter adjusting, numerical control lathe accuracy debugging and performance examination has been used to finish a series of tailing in the work of numerical control reformation of general machine tool. In this paper, the detailed process of electrical and mechanical alignment, parameter adjusting, numerical control lathe accuracy debugging and performance examination has been demonstrated, meanwhile, the specific operational approach of these work programs has been discussed. Therefore, the present results provides essential reference and approach for the numerical control reformation of general machine tool.

Personalized Query Recommendation Using Semantic Factor Model

In the field of query recommendation,the current techniques for semantic analysis technology can’t meet the demands of users.In order to meet diverse needs,we improved the LDA model and designed a new query recommendation model based on collaborative filtering-Semantic Factor Model(SFM),which combines text information,user interest information and web source.First,we improved the LDA model from bag-of-word to bag-of-phrase to understand the topics expressed by users’frequently used sentences.The phrase bag model treats phrases as a whole and can capture more accurate query intent.Second,we use collaborative filtering to build an evaluation matrix between user interests and personalized expressions.Third,we designed a new scoring function that can recommend the top n resources to users.Finally,we conduct experiments on the AOL data set.The experimental results show that compared with other latest query recommendation techniques,SFM has higher recommendation quality.

Research on Rural Public Service System Based on the Data of "The Eleventh Five-Year Plan"

Rural public service is the services provided to rural residents to fulfill the needs of agricultural production, development of rural economy and improvement of peasant's living standard. Improving rural public service system is good for promoting the development of rural economy, enhancing the quality of peasant's living standard, narrowing the gap between rural and urban areas and constructing socialistic harmonious society. Currently, our rural power grid construction can meet the essential needs of economic and social development in rural areas. Rural water conservancy structure also fulfills the needs of agricultural production and peasant's life. Rural traffic condition has an obvious improvement. Education, culture, medical care and other public services all have a general enhancement. However, comparing to the city, rural public service system still exists some problems including imperfect infrastructures, low-quality education and medical treatment, low-level living environment and so on. Therefore, it is needed to establish a long-acting system of rural public service to boost the reform of rural basic education, improve the facilities of rural medical treatment, promote the reform of rural cooperative medical service, enhance the management of rural governance and improve the quality of rural life and environment.

National Characteristics and Art Composition Characteristics of Tujia Brocade Art

As one of China's national minorities, Tujia nationality has exerted an important role in the development course of modern national culture. In the development course of national culture of Tujia nationality, its brocade art inherited generation by generation has been extensively applied in art inheritance in modern society. It has also been applied in practical teaching to manifest the unique style and special artistic expression of Tujia brocade art. Under such a context, it is necessary to strengthen analysis on its national characteristics in the art development course and art composition characteristics. For this purpose, this paper makes special analysis on the national characteristics and art composition of Tujia brocade art in the sequence of analysis on the basic components of Tujia brocade art, analysis on its national characteristics and then detailed analysis on its composition characteristics. The author hopes to help people to understand the unique characteristics and results of Tujia brocade art after the analysis in this paper.

Aesthetic Characteristics Thinking of Minority Folk Art in Guizhou

Guizhou, with a cluster of multiple ethnic groups, is located in the southwest of China. In the province, there is up to 49 ethnic minorities whose population occupies around 1/3 of the total. Thanks to this, the multi-ethnic region is endowed with various folk art and culture of distinctive minority styles. This paper briefly discusses the outline of minority folk art in Guizhou, including its development and features, analyzes the aesthetic expression ways and characteristics of the art, and finally, puts forward some further thoughts from fine art, dancing art and batik art. This paper aims to further facilitate the development and innovation of the minority folk art of Guizhou, and add lustre to the progress of our national minority cultures.
