The crystal and molecular structures of 1 and 2 have been solved by X-ray diffraction and they turned out to be a one-dimensional coordination polymer with linear dispositions of metal atoms and binuclear compound,respectively. These one-dimensional polymers are further connected to form a 3D supramolecular network by C–H···O(only in 2) and π-π interactions.展开更多

A benzophenone substituted semicarbazone, 2-((3-aminophenyl)(phenyl)methylene)hydrazinecarboxamide (APHC) had been synthesized in good yield by the condensation of 3-aminobenzophenone and semicarbazide hydrochloride. ...A benzophenone substituted semicarbazone, 2-((3-aminophenyl)(phenyl)methylene)hydrazinecarboxamide (APHC) had been synthesized in good yield by the condensation of 3-aminobenzophenone and semicarbazide hydrochloride. The title compound was elucidated by elemental analysis (CHN), FTIR, 1H and 13C-NMR, 1H-1H COSY, TGA and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallized in the orthorhombic crystal system with space group of Pccn, Z = 32, V = 10375.1 (2) ?3, and lattice constants a = 12.3855 (1) ?, b = 34.5746 (5) ?, c = 24.2283 (3) ??and γ = β = α = 90°. The molecular view shows that APHC contains four molecules of each species in the asymmetric unit, with similar geometries. However, there is no intramolecular hydrogen bond found in the crystal structure of the synthesized compound. X-ray diffraction also reveals that the molecule of the semicarbazone exists as a Z isomer with respect to the C=N.展开更多

The comp...The synthesis and characterization of the copper(II) complex [Cu_2(OOCCH=C(CH_3)Fc)_3(phen)_2]ClO_4·2H_2O (1) are reported. The structure of the complex was determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system,space group Pc ,with Z =2,a =1.2799(4) nm,b =0.9969(4) nm,c =2.5228 nm,and β =91.576(1)°. The cationic part of 1 indicates a penametallic core in which three 3-ferrocenyl-2-crotonic acid salt (FCA) groups act as (O,O') bridging ligands between two copper(II) ions with a square-pyramidal environment. Cyclic voltammetric experiments in acetonitrile have been performed mainly to examine the Fe(II) → Fe(III) one-electron oxidation in FCA and its complex. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed very weak intramolecular anti-ferromagnetic coupling. Fitting parameters are 2 J =-0.2 cm -1 ,g =2.114,and θ =0 K.展开更多
