Calculation of activity coefficients for components in ternary Ti alloys and intermetallics as matrix of composites 被引量:9

Based on Kohler’s ternary solution model and Miedema’s model for calculating the formation heat of binary solution, the integral equation was established for calculating the activity coefficients in ternary alloys and intermetallics. The activity coefficients for components in alloy Ti-5Al-2.5Sn, Ti-6Al-4V and intermetallics TiAl, Ti3Al and Ti2AlNb were calculated with the equations. The calculated data coincide well with the experimental ones found in literatures. According to the calculated activity coefficients and activities, it can be predicted that the interfacial reaction in SiC/Ti3Al composite is more severe than that in composites SiC/Ti2AlNb and SiC/TiAl. 展开更多

With the help of the testing apparatus made by ourselves for shielding electromagnetic radiation, the electric conductivity and shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic radiation of polyethylene film contained different content of carbon particles was systematically studied in this paper. The results indicate that the electric conductivity and shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic radiation of polyethylene /carbon film have closely relations with content of carbon black particles, which exists a critical content value as 14%~30% and its properties will have a tremendous change. 展开更多

Nettle plants widely exist in China, but up to now there is no research regarding Chinese nettle fiber properties, especially about its spinnability. This paper has studied the properties of Chinese nettle fiber and its spinnability. The research results show that the average length of nettle fiber is about 34 mm, the nettle fiber fineness ranging from 0.589 to 0.769 tex. Nettle fiber has high breaking strength, low breaking extension and high initial modulus. Both the biochemical method and chemical method can meet the requirement of nettle degumming, with the residual being less than 4%. Nettle fiber can be utilised as textile material and can be spun in rotor-spinning machines after well degummed. 展开更多

The feasibility of photocatalytic degradation of the formaldehyde gas by titanium dioxide (TiO2)/polyester non-woven fabrics was studied. The effects of parameters such as the concentration of TiO2 solution, pH value, and drying temperature on the photocatalytic degradation of the formaldehyde gas were also studied. The results showed that the photodegradation efficiency of the formaldehyde gas increased rapidly with the increasing of the concentration of TiO2 solution up to 15g/L, but when the concentration was in excess of 15 g/L, the photodegradation efficiency decreased gradually and fluctuated due to light obstruction and disperse state of TiO2. Adjusting the pH value in the solution, the efficiency of photocatalytic degradation of the formaldehyde gas could be improved. The mechanisms of the reaction and the role of the additives were also investigated. After 42hours, TiO2/polyester non-woven fabric showed no significant loss of the photocatalytic activity. 展开更多

Coating for Nano Super Soil-repellency of Cashmere Fabric

The nano-size metal oxide was prepared by the single-disperse technique on liquid phase, and formed sol clusters, its uniform film was covered on the surface of cashmere fibers by coating, and it had good oil repellency and water repellency. The results of IR(infrared) Spectrometer analysis revealed: The nano material combines through the strong bonds with the surface of cashmere fibers by the live groups. These analyses by SEM techniques showed that the nano material was distributed on the fiber surface even, and the nano material formed the strong peak of the regular crystal phase structure using the X-Ray Diffractometry (XRD) to analysis the fabric. The optimum techniques were selected by a series of experiments, coated cashmere fabric not only has preserved original properties of softness and comfort, but also has good properties of Bi-repellency function.
