A Review of Research on Galvanic Corrosion of Aluminum Alloys

When aluminum alloys are coupled with dissimilar materials,they often act as corrosion anodes and are suscepted to accelerated corrosion.Therefore,deepening our knowledge of such corrosion phenomena,related mechanisms,and elaborating new prediction model is of great theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,such mechanisms are explained from both macroscopic and microscopic points of view by considering several aspects such as the second phase particle type,grain size,and environmental ions.More specifically,different perspectives on such a problem are elaborated,which take into account:the properties of the coupling pair materials,geometrical characteristics,environmental media characteristics,the corrosion regularity of different types of aluminum alloys,the influence of area ratio on anode corrosion current density,the interference of the solution primary ions represented by Cl-and the accompanying ions represented by Al3+.A review is also conducted of the standard test methods used in the study of aluminum alloys galvanic corrosion and of research methods such as the Wire Beam Electrodes Technology(WBE),the Scanning Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy(SKPFM)technology.Finally,three kinds of inhibition technologies are discussed,including the anodic oxidation treatment,the corrosion inhibitor treatment and the coating protection method. 展开更多

Based on the mechanics of anisotropic materials, the dynamic propagation problem of a mode Ⅲ crack in an infinite anisotropic body is investigated. Stress, strain and displacement around the crack tip are expressed as an analytical complex function, which can be represented in power series. Constant coefficients of series are determined by boundary conditions. Expressions of dynamic stress intensity factors for a mode Ⅲ crack are obtained. Components of dynamic stress, dynamic strain and dynamic displacement around the crack tip are derived. Crack propagation characteristics are represented by the mechanical properties of the anisotropic materials, i.e., crack propagation velocity M and the parameter ~. The faster the crack velocity is, the greater the maximums of stress components and dynamic displacement components around the crack tip are. In particular, the parameter α affects stress and dynamic displacement around the crack tip. 展开更多

A Novel SAR Image Ship Small Targets Detection Method

To satisfy practical requirements of high real-time accuracy and low computational complexity of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image ship small target detection, this paper proposes a small ship target detection method based on the improved You Only Look Once Version 3 (YOLOv3). The main contributions of this study are threefold. First, the feature extraction network of the original YOLOV3 algorithm is replaced with the VGG16 network convolution layer. Second, general convolution is transformed into depthwise separable convolution, thereby reducing the computational cost of the algorithm. Third, a residual network structure is introduced into the feature extraction network to reuse the shallow target feature information, which enhances the detailed features of the target and ensures the improvement in accuracy of small target detection performance. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, many experiments are conducted on public SAR image datasets. For ship targets with complex backgrounds and small ship targets in the SAR image, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified. Results show that the accuracy and recall rate improved by 5.31% and 2.77%, respectively, compared with the original YOLOV3. Furthermore, the proposed model not only significantly reduces the computational effort, but also improves the detection accuracy of ship small target. 展开更多

This paper investigates a switching control strategy for the altitude motion of a morphing aircraft with variable sweep wings based on Q-learning.The morphing process is regarded as a function of the system states and a related altitude motion model is established.Then,the designed controller is divided into the outer part and inner part,where the outer part is devised by a combination of the back-stepping method and command filter technique so that the’explosion of complexity’problem is eliminated.Moreover,the integrator structure of the altitude motion model is exploited to simplify the back-stepping design,and disturbance observers inspired from the idea of extended state observer are devised to obtain estimations of the system disturbances.The control input switches from the outer part to the inner part when the altitude tracking error converges to a small value and linear approximation of the altitude motion model is applied.The inner part is generated by the Q-learning algorithm which learns the optimal command in the presence of unknown system matrices and disturbances.It is proved rigorously that all signals of the closed-loop system stay bounded by the developed control method and controller switching occurs only once.Finally,comparative simulations are conducted to validate improved control performance of the proposed scheme. 展开更多
