Ginkgo proan-thocyanidins (20, 40, 80 mg/kg) were intraperitoneally administered 1, 24, 48 and 72 hours before reperfusion. Results showed that ginkgo proanthocyanidins could effectively mitigate neurological disorders, shorten infarct volume, increase superoxide dismutase activity, and de-crease malondialdehyde and nitric oxide contents. Simultaneously, the study on grape seed proanthocyanidins (40 mg/kg) confirmed that different sources of proanthocyanidins have a similar effect. The neurological outcomes of ginkgo proanthocyanidins were similar to that of nimodipine in the treatmen't of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. (Sur results suggestthat-ginkgo proanthocyanidins can effectively lessen cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury and protect ischemic brain tissue and these effects are associated with antioxidant properties.展开更多
Based on the Mg^(2+)complexation with acid chrome blue K(ACBK)at pH 10.2,an automatic system was designed to determine total hardness of water.The system consists of a vector colorimeter,a multi-channel sampling pump ...Based on the Mg^(2+)complexation with acid chrome blue K(ACBK)at pH 10.2,an automatic system was designed to determine total hardness of water.The system consists of a vector colorimeter,a multi-channel sampling pump and both reagents A and B.Two kinds of reagent solutions were prepared and used in this system,i.e.,ammoniacal buffer and ACBK—disodium magnesium EDTA solutions.The experimental results of the standard solutions containing 2 and 3 mg/L of total hardness showed that the relative standard deviations(RSDs)were 1.9%and 2.2%,respectively,and the limit of detection(LOD)was only 0.035 mg/L.The detection of four natural water samples showed that the recoveries were between 85.0%and 108.6%,consistent with those obtained by ICP-AES method.展开更多

It can be expressed on the cell surface of many solid tumors (Brahmer et al., 2012) and inhibits T cell proliferation and cytokine production by bind- ing to the Tcell surface receptor programmed death 1 (PD-1) or B7-1 (McClanahan et al., 2015). In 2013, targeting PD-1/ PD-L1 signaling for cancer immunotherapy was selected as the No.1 scientific breakthrough of the year by the editors of Science. Interferons (IFNs) are a group of pleiotropic cytokines, demonstrated anti-viral, anti-tumor, and immune regulatory functions (York et al., 2015). Type I interferon binds a heterodimeric receptor composed of IFNAR1 and IFNAR2. This activates a canonical JAK/STAT signaling pathway that ultimately induces a set of interferon-stimulated genes to exert its biological activity (Ejlerskov et al., 2015).
