Irpex lacteus has been widely used for treating chronic glomerulonephritis as a traditional Chinese medicine.Seven water-soluble polysaccharide fractions(ILN I,ILN II,ILN III,ILA I,ILA II,ILB I and ILB II) were isol...Irpex lacteus has been widely used for treating chronic glomerulonephritis as a traditional Chinese medicine.Seven water-soluble polysaccharide fractions(ILN I,ILN II,ILN III,ILA I,ILA II,ILB I and ILB II) were isolated and purified from Irpex lacteus by hot-water extraction,deproteinization,decolorization,dicthy laminoethyl(DEAE)-cellulose ion exchange and sephadex G100 chromatographies,respectively.The average molecular weights and monosaccharide composition of these polysaccharide fractions greatly differed from each other.The antitumor and antinephritis activities of the seven polysaccharide fractions were evaluated.It was found that ILN III displayed significant inhibition effects on both humar hepatocellular liver carcinoma(HepG2) and hentietta lacks(HeLa) tumor cells with IC 50 values of 60.95 and 99.95 μg/mL,respectively.ILA I exhibited significant inhibition effects on murine mesangial cells(HBZT-1) with an IC 50 value of 185.06 μg/mL.The inhibition effects of other polysaccharide fractions on these three cells were significantly different.These results suggest that the polysaccharide fractions isolated from Irpex lacteus have potential antitumor and antinephritis activities.展开更多
The severely worn position and failure mechanisms of the ring die of a feed pellet machine were investigated.The macroscopic and microscopic morphologies of the failed surface,the chemical composition and mechanical p...The severely worn position and failure mechanisms of the ring die of a feed pellet machine were investigated.The macroscopic and microscopic morphologies of the failed surface,the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the collected samples were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy,energy disperse spectroscopy,optical emission spectrometry,and a universal testing machine.Results show that the dip angle at the entrance of the ring die hole between the roller and ring die was severely worn.The feed powder could not be fully extruded through the dip angle at the entrance of the ring die holes,thus the density of the feed particles produced could not meet the requirements.Therefore,abrasive wear under high stress is the main reason of failure at the entrance of the ring die holes under the action of feeding powder;and cutting and fatigue spalling lead to substantial material loss.In addition,a high damp-heat environment aggravates abrasive wear on the die hole internal surface.展开更多

FE(finite element) models of bend pipe without defects and those with defects were introduced to analyze energy distribution, mode transition and defect detection of ultrasonic guided wave. FE simulation results were validated by experiments of four different bend pipes with circumferential defects in different positions. It is shown that most energy of T(0,1) mode or L(0,2) mode focuses on extrados of bend but little passes through intrados of bend, and T(0,1) mode or L(0,2) mode is converted to other possible non-axisymmetric modes when propagating through the bend and the defect after bend respectively. Furthermore, L(0,2) mode is more sensitive to circumferential notch than T(0,1) mode. The results of this work are beneficial for practical testing of pipes.展开更多
Lead-carbon hybrid capacitors are the electrochemical devices between supercapacitors and lead-acid batteries,with low prices,stability in high and low temperature,good security and broad application prospects.This pa...Lead-carbon hybrid capacitors are the electrochemical devices between supercapacitors and lead-acid batteries,with low prices,stability in high and low temperature,good security and broad application prospects.This paper introduces an electrodeposition behavior of Pb^(2+)on the negative electrode,which can improve the cycle life of the lead-carbon hybrid capacitor.During the charging process,lead ions in the electrolyte can diffuse from the positive electrode of the lead-carbon hybrid capacitor into the negative electrode.When charging at a low current density,the lead ions around the negative electrode can be reduced to lead,and it is then quickly converted to lead sulfate crystals.With the increase of the number of cycles,the final result is sulfation.Sulfation can reduce the specific surface area of the electric double layer,thereby reducing the capacitance performance of the carbon material.As a result,it reduces the charge-discharge efficiency of the lead-carbon hybrid capacitor.The service life of lead-carbon hybrid capacitor is significantly improved by the inhibition of lead deposition by anion exchange membrane.The capacity retention rate at 5 A/g is improved from 84%after 1000 cycles to 95%after 10,000 cycles.The discovery of lead deposition in the negative electrode is conducive to improving the performance of long-life lead-carbon hybrid capacitors.展开更多

In this paper, the effect of substitution on the color of methyl ketone bridged electrochromic materials has been investigated systematically by experimental and TDDFT methods. By screening 15 functional and 11 basis sets, a statistical method based on M052 X data is developed to estimate the maximum absorption wavelengths(λ_(max)) of electrochromic materials, based on analyzing λ_(max) of 18 molecules. For methyl ketone bridged electrochromic materials, the color from yellow to green and λ_(max) from 400 to 690 nm can be adjusted by electron-withdrawing functional group on Ar2 and electron-donating functional group on Ar1. This work not only exhibits the suitable method to predict the maximum absorption wavelength and color of electrochromic materials, but also inspires and accelerates further development of electrochromic materials for future displays.展开更多

To remedy this lacuna, the authors developed a model in which real effective exchange rate moderated the effect of import and utilization of foreign capital on export. The sample comprised 11 years' data in Guangdong China. The result showed that real effective exchange rate of RMB affected the export by interacting with utilization of foreign capital. It has been observed that both cancer tissue cells and normal proliferating cells(NPCs)have the Warburg effect.Our goal here is to demonstrate that they do this for different reasons.To accomplish this,we have analyze...It has been observed that both cancer tissue cells and normal proliferating cells(NPCs)have the Warburg effect.Our goal here is to demonstrate that they do this for different reasons.To accomplish this,we have analyzed the transcriptomic data of over 7000 cancer and control tissues of 14 cancer types in TCGA and data of five NPC types in GEO.Our analyses reveal that NPCs accumulate large quantities of ATPs produced by the respiration process before starting the Warburg effect,to raise the intracellular pH from 6.8 to 7.2 and to prepare for cell division energetically.Once cell cycle starts,the cells start to rely on glycolysis for ATP generation followed by ATP hydrolysis and lactic acid release,to maintain the elevated intracellular pH as needed by cell division since together the three processes are pH neutral.The cells go back to the normal respirationbased ATP production once the cell division phase ends.In comparison,cancer cells have reached their intracellular pH at 7.4 from top down as multiple acid-loading transporters are up-regulated and most acid-extruding ones except for lactic acid exporters are repressed.Cancer cells use continuous glycolysis for ATP production as way to acidify the intracellular space since the lactic acid secretion is decoupled from glycolysis-based ATP generation and is pH balanced by increased expressions of acid-loading transporters.Co-expression analyses suggest that lactic acid secretion is regulated by external,non-pH related signals.Overall,our data strongly suggest that the two cell types have the Warburg effect for very different reasons.展开更多

As is well-known, the presence of an inorganic component typically decreases the hydrophilicity and transparency of the coating. To solve this problem, we used polyethylene glycol with two different molecular weights to modify the si- lane coupling agent and mixed it with hydrophilic copolymer to form coating formulas. We coated these formulas on polycarbonate(PC) substrates to measure the anti-fogging properties via contact angle and anti-fogging tests, com- pared their transparency properties using UV-Vis spectra and evaluated the hardness using a pencil hardness tester. The results demonstrate that the molecular weight of PEG has a strong influence on the properties of the anti-fog coatings. After the corresponding optimization, we manufactured an excellent anti-fog coating. In addition to good adhesion and hardness, the coating also exhibited excellent mechanical properties, optical transparency and perfect anti-fogging performance.展开更多

In this paper, the effect of substitution on the color of methyl ketone bridged electrochromic materials has been investigated systematically by experimental and TDDFT methods. By screening 15 functional and 11 basis sets, a statistical method based on M052 X data is developed to estimate the maximum absorption wavelengths(λ_(max)) of electrochromic materials, based on analyzing λ_(max) of 18 molecules. For methyl ketone bridged electrochromic materials, the color from yellow to green and λ_(max) from 400 to 690 nm can be adjusted by electron-withdrawing functional group on Ar2 and electron-donating functional group on Ar1. This work not only exhibits the suitable method to predict the maximum absorption wavelength and color of electrochromic materials, but also inspires and accelerates further development of electrochromic materials for future displays.

文摘An important limitation of the research literatures which study the effect on the export of the real effective exchange rates is the lack of application of interaction or moderator effect among the independent variables. To remedy this lacuna, the authors developed a model in which real effective exchange rate moderated the effect of import and utilization of foreign capital on export. The sample comprised 11 years' data in Guangdong China. The result showed that real effective exchange rate of RMB affected the export by interacting with utilization of foreign capital. Moreover, to some degree, the real effective exchange rate can also act as moderator between import and export.
文摘In order to realize the high speed data acquisition and fast Fourier analysis, the paper put forward a kind of high speed data acquisition and analysis system based on FPGA, the system uses Cyclone series FPGA with high-speed A/D converter, and use the fast Fourier custom analysis nucleation of Altera company, using the standard TCP/IP protocol communication with PC, match up the master machine based on Matlab GUI analysis software. We experiment high speed data acquisition and fast Fourier analysis for a plurality of groups of high frequency analog signals, at the same time the results display on the computer. The experimental results validate the fast Fourier analysis theory, and has realized the low cost, high performance data acquisition and analysis of the complete system design.

文摘The Keras deep learning framework is employed to study MRI brain data in a preliminary analysis of brain structure using a convolutional neural network.The results obtained are matched with the content of personality questionnaires.The Big Five personality traits provide easy differentiation for dividing personalities into different groups.Until now,the highest accuracy obtained from the results of personality prediction from the analysis of brain structure is about 70%.Although there is still no effective evidence to prove a clear relationship between brain structure and personality,the obtained results could prove helpful in understanding the basic relationship between brain structure and personality characteristics.
文摘The paper is intended to study the cultural untranslatability in Chinese-English literary translation and its compensation with a view to find some practical strategies in translation when untranslatabiltiy occurs. Based on Eugene A. Nida’s classification of language culture, the author analyzes causes of cultural untranslatability in terms of ecological culture, material culture, social culture, religious culture, and linguistic culture through specific examples. As the cultural untranslatability is conditioned, variable, and dynamic, some translation strategies are proposed for tranferring untranslatability to translatability.

文摘It has been observed that both cancer tissue cells and normal proliferating cells(NPCs)have the Warburg effect.Our goal here is to demonstrate that they do this for different reasons.To accomplish this,we have analyzed the transcriptomic data of over 7000 cancer and control tissues of 14 cancer types in TCGA and data of five NPC types in GEO.Our analyses reveal that NPCs accumulate large quantities of ATPs produced by the respiration process before starting the Warburg effect,to raise the intracellular pH from 6.8 to 7.2 and to prepare for cell division energetically.Once cell cycle starts,the cells start to rely on glycolysis for ATP generation followed by ATP hydrolysis and lactic acid release,to maintain the elevated intracellular pH as needed by cell division since together the three processes are pH neutral.The cells go back to the normal respirationbased ATP production once the cell division phase ends.In comparison,cancer cells have reached their intracellular pH at 7.4 from top down as multiple acid-loading transporters are up-regulated and most acid-extruding ones except for lactic acid exporters are repressed.Cancer cells use continuous glycolysis for ATP production as way to acidify the intracellular space since the lactic acid secretion is decoupled from glycolysis-based ATP generation and is pH balanced by increased expressions of acid-loading transporters.Co-expression analyses suggest that lactic acid secretion is regulated by external,non-pH related signals.Overall,our data strongly suggest that the two cell types have the Warburg effect for very different reasons.

文摘A new and effective organic-inorganic hybrid hydrophilic anti-fog coating was proposed and prepared. As is well-known, the presence of an inorganic component typically decreases the hydrophilicity and transparency of the coating. To solve this problem, we used polyethylene glycol with two different molecular weights to modify the si- lane coupling agent and mixed it with hydrophilic copolymer to form coating formulas. We coated these formulas on polycarbonate(PC) substrates to measure the anti-fogging properties via contact angle and anti-fogging tests, com- pared their transparency properties using UV-Vis spectra and evaluated the hardness using a pencil hardness tester. The results demonstrate that the molecular weight of PEG has a strong influence on the properties of the anti-fog coatings. After the corresponding optimization, we manufactured an excellent anti-fog coating. In addition to good adhesion and hardness, the coating also exhibited excellent mechanical properties, optical transparency and perfect anti-fogging performance.
